I don’t understand how it is that I can’t put into words the freedom, the peace I have realizing that Jesus Christ died for our sins, my sins and yours. That gift of peace isn’t yours until you accept him as your lord and savior. Yes people confess but when their heart truly opens to him only then are they overcome with a peace and a happiness that is unmatched by everything. The whole world transformed from that moment on… I’ve never felt so free… open your heart for Jesus and you will find your peace and true freedom.

Brother your hair has grown a bit since florida! Yes Jesus is correct we cannot server God and Mammon (money). Our focus must be on God first. I changed my life in a small rural Florida location and have been serving as a Lay Pastor for about 2 years now. We know that none are perfect and all fall short of the glory of God. Thankfully God had a plan to send his only Son to atone for our sins via his sacrifice on the cross. This give us a chance but we still have to life Gods way and this includes following his 10 commandments. No these were not written only for Jews. The Sabbath was made at creation not for God but for man to worship God on a specific day. I believe that God gave adam and eve these same commandments in their creation since they followed them until sin. Otherwise explain how they knew they were naked after their sin, and how Cain knew he was wrong for killing abel. Also to those who say the commandments were only for the jews. PLease remember that there were no jews. We all descended from a single family after the flood. This family came from the line of Seth (one of adam and eve's sons.) Noah and his 3 sons repopulated the earth. We are from them so that makes us all from the same family tree even the jews. So we must follow the same commandments. on the rifle note, I sold all my ar style weapons and kept on lever and both guns with 1 single exception, my old sks. 10 rounds seems to be enough for me, but i prefer my lever or bolt guns with good scopes. I have been selling legally of course much of my collections leaving myself revolvers and the obligatory beretta 92 and glock g19 but i dont carry either of these. its a taurus 856 or ruger lcp2 with 1 extra mag and speed strip depending on the weapon.
