Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life….!!.!.!.!.

Now let’s look at the first 19 verses of the chapter to see what is actually going on here: John 5:1-19, “1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda,having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?" 7 The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me." 8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. ( verse 17-18). In verse 19, we can see that Jesus is actually talking about his human form not being able to do anything on its own. This is part of his statement of him being God. He’s saying he’s not just a mere man, but also God. We know this not just by the previous verses ( verse 17-18) where claims to be God. But, because he also said “ I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” Now let’s take a look at the next verses leading up to verse 30: John 5:20-29, “20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21 "For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22 "For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23 "that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26 "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 "and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28 "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 "and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” Notice verse 21 Jesus says that he also gives life. This is him again claiming oneness with God. And verse 22, Jesus is claiming to be judge, again making the claim of oneness with God. And verse 23, that all should honour the son as the father. This is again Jesus claiming oneness with God. And verse 24, Jesus is saying he who believes in his word, so he’s claiming it as his word. So, again he’s claiming oneness with God. And verse 25, he is claiming to be God, which is understood as so by the immediate context of the surrounding verses. And verse 28 is Jesus talking about his voice and by saying those in the graves will hear his voice, he’s talking about resurrection. So, this is Jesus claiming that they will be resurrected by his voice. So, again he is claiming to be God. Jesus has already claimed to be God 8 times before verse 30.

Paul was previously Saul...Jesus recognized that the last promise made to Abraham needed completion and Paul, upon becoming a “Christian” set out to convert gentiles and bring them to Israel so that the promise to Abraham would come to pass. Paul did not require gentiles to circumcise and that was a big deal to most of the Apostles. Paul saw that the ends of days would happen in his lifetime. All of them remained Jews, including Jesus. No one knows when the 4 books in the the New Testament were written, but it is clear that they were written much later by the followers of Paul. Jesus was a Rabbi who had a master teacher who was a Pharisee. They taught a philosophy of peace and love. I could say more. I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian. Throughout the Bible Jesus calls himself “the Son of man.” It was subsequent Christians that made him the “Christ.” The first Bible was written in Greek because Greek in the early centuries was the Master Tongue.” Certainly some of the letters between Christian followers were written in Aramaic and Hebrew.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself”,the place that he mentioned is the kingdom. Thomas did not understand and said, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” (John 14:5). He understood that Jesus (PBUH) spoke about a real road and a real journey. Correcting him and explaining that it is a spiritual journey, Jesus (PBUH) said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life”,meaning, following God’s statute and His religion alone will lead to the kingdom of heaven. Then, Philip asked him to show them Allah (S.W); thus, Jesus (PBUH) scolded him, saying,“Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? (John 14:10) meaning, how could you ask such a thing, since you are a Jew, and you know that Allah (S.W) cannot be seen? Who ever has seen me, has seen the Father, when he witnessed Allah’s deeds - the miracles -, which I performed. This passage is the same as in Matthew,“Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?' And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'(Matt. 25:34-40) and no one in this world will say that the hungry one was the king; it is just an example and a metaphor. Similarly, Mark said, "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but Him who sent me." (Mark 9:37). This passage does not mean that the boy is Jesus (PBUH) himself, or that Jesus (PBUH) is Allah (S.W) Himself. It means that, he (PBUH) tells us that whoever does good deeds for the child, is the same as doing it for him, and is obeying Allah (S.W) and His orders. Similarly, as anyone who has seen Jesus (PBUH) is considered as if he or she has seen Allah (S.W), then whoever accepts Jesus (PBUH) and his disciples, has accepted Allah (S.W), and whoever has denied their message, he or she - in fact- has denied Allah’s Law. Therefore, Jesus (PBUH) said, "The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me." (Luke 10:16) He (PBUH) confirms that again when he said,“Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.” (Matt. 10:40) similarly, whoever has seen Jesus (PBUH) it is the same as seeing Allah (S.W), because, as he said,“Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.”(John 14:10). In the Book of Acts, when Peter spoke to Ananias regarding the field’s money, is similar. “While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God." When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.”(Acts 5:4-5). To lie to people is to lie - in fact - to Allah (S.W), and that does not mean that people and Allah (S.W) are the same. The seeing, when he said “Who has seen me has seen the Father” is metaphoric, which is the insight seeing and not the sight, and this insight seeing is for all believers, who are from Allah (S.W). Jesus (PBUH) said,“not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father.”(John 6:46) and all the believers are from Allah (S.W). “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of Him.” (John (1) 5:1) Another proof is what Jesus (PBUH) said after that. “Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.”(John 14:19) He is not talking about real sight, since he is talking about his ascension to heaven and at that time, the world and the disciples will not see him. He is talking about the faith and spiritual insight, in which the believers and the disciples will be able to see and feel, but not the others. What comes in Matthew supports this. Matthew said, “And no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son.” (Matt. 11:27) Another passage, which is similar, that comes in the Gospel according to John: “And Jesus cried out and said,"Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in Him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees Him who sent me. For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has Himself given me a commandment--what to say and what to speak. And I know that His commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me."(John 12:44-51) and it meant insight. His saying, “Who has seen me has seen the one who has sent me”, does not mean that who has seen the one sent - the Son - has seen the sender - the Father-- unless they both are one. Furthermore, this can be refuted by his saying, “You heard me say to you, 'I am going away, and I will come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28) and “My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.”(John 10:29). No Christian would affirm that the Father is the Son, but they are different personalities, even though they claim that they - the Son and the Father- are united. In his book, "Commentaries on John’s Gospel", Priest Matta El Meskeen said, “Christian belief is that, the hypostases of God are different. The Father is not the Son, nor the Son is the Father, and each hypostasis has his own divine characteristics.”[1] Therefore, who has seen the Son, did not see the Father. Finally, according to the Bible, it is impossible to see Allah (S.W) in this world: “No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.”(John 1:18)“who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.(Ti. 1 6:16) Therefore, taking this verse “Who has seen me has seen the Father” as evidence for Jesus’ divinity is weak and feeble, and is the insight kind of seeing as I mentioned above.

There is an insincerity in the challenge of this preacher. The disciples of Jesus preached His divinity, per example John in the first chapter of his gospel and clearly the book of Revelation, but muslims believe John lied. So, any reference whatsoever about Jesus besides Coran is not trustworthy to muslims. So, Bible and Coran cannot argue, which means Allah and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are not the same, which means one must be God, and the other the Devil. We have today in our possession 5,300 known Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, another 10,000 Latin Vulgates, and 9,300 other early versions (MSS), giving us more than 24,000 manuscript copies of portions of the New Testament in existence today. We have over 10,000 Old Testament manuscripts, the oldest is the Septuagint, or LXX, is the oldest Greek translation of the Old Testament. It was begun around 247 BC by seventy scholars in Alexandria, Egypt for an expanding community of Greek speaking Jews, and was completed no later than 117 BC. On this basis, the religion of any Jew or Christian will not be correct unless he believes in the sharee’ah of Islam and adheres to the rulings of the Holy Qur’aan. The Qur’aan is Muhaymin (i.e., it testifies to the truth that is in the previous scriptures and exposes the falsehood that has been added to them), and it abrogates the previous Books. So Jesus never claimed to be God? When Moses asked the Lord God what his name was on Mt Sinai, He said: Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exodus 3:14) He said his name was "I AM"! Throughout the New Testament, the LORD Jesus Christ also repeats this (HIS) name over and over. Here are just a FEW examples: For I AM the true vine; I AM the light of the world; I AM the way, the truth, and the life; I AM the door; I AM the good shepherd; I AM the bread of life, I AM the resurrection and the life; I AM from above; I AM not of the world, and there are many, many more examples. But Jesus also used it in other ways such as: Think not that I AM come to destroy...(Matt. 5:17). Why didn't Jesus use the words I CAME instead of I AM come? The word came is used more than 1,500 times in the bible! It's apparent that Jesus was constantly trying to tell the Jews the truth but as He always said, the Jews weren’t listening. In most of the new bible PERVERSIONS they have removed this link of Jesus to Jehovah in the Old Testament. In Matt 5:17, instead they use I HAVE COME instead of I AM come. They do this again in Matt 9:13 and 10:34! In Luke 12:49, they changed I AM come to send fire on the earth to: I came to bring fire...In John 17:14, they changed I AM not of the world to: I do not belong to the world. Each time, the new bible PER-Versions have removed the connection to God's name I AM that was given to Moses and Israel! In John 10:24, the Jews came to Jesus and said: "If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly'. Well Jesus HAD been telling them plainly all along. Jesus answered them: I told you and ye believed not (Jn. 10:25). But as Isaiah prophesied: Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert and be healed. (Isaiah (6:10) See also Matt. 13:13-15. Jesus said: I AM come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not (Jn 5:43). Then, a few verses later Jesus said: For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. But if you will not believe his writings, how shall ye believe my words? (Jn. 5:46,47). His words were I AM, I AM, I AM over and over and over again! Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus was saying that He was GOD & the I AM of the Old Testament. As far as the Trinity is concerned, not only is it mentioned several times in the New Testament, it can also be found in the Old Testament more than 500 years before Jesus Christ was even born on earth. Throughout the Bible, the Trinity is spoken of. Here are just a few examples, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Matthew 28:19, Jude 20-21, 1 Peter 1:2. You can even find the Trinity spoken of by Zechariah in the Old Testament! I (God the Father) said: I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the SPIRIT of Grace and of supplication (that is the Holy Spirit) so that they will look upon ME (God the Father) whom they have pierced and they shall mourn for HIM (Jesus, God the Son) as one mourneth for his only son...(Zechariah 12:10). There's the Trinity written by a prophet 500 years BEFORE Christ was born! How do you explain that? The LORD GOD does not say ME whom they pierced and mourn for ME, nor does He say HIM whom they pierced and mourn for him! It reads: ME whom they have pierced and mourned for HIM after He had poured out HIS Holy Ghost - the spirit of grace and supplication. There's the Trinity together in the O.T. Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Please read and study it for yourself and I pray that the LORD will open your eyes to understand it.

Hello Michael. Firstly I would like to present this biblical verse. John 12:49 - “For I have not spoken on my own authority; but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment-what to say and what to speak.” Jesus Christ on several places in the bible appears merely as a prophet who was one of the mightiest. Here is his "'mightiness" : Deuteronomy 18:18 - I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. I would like to see what you reply upon reading those quotes. Secondly , if Jesus was God and divine , he knows everything then right? The future of mankind and all, so why would he do such act to sacrifice a human body if he loves everything in order for our sins to be gone? The good news is that Jesus told us He is God in many different ways! He has made it clear that He and God the Father are one (John 10:30), and says in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” Who else could claim these things except God?

But to me this is an admission that it is self contradictory and incomprehensible. You mentioned Isa 9 :6. Now it is true that most Christians apply this passage prophetically to Jesus as the Messiah /Christ as I would too. However, the passage was originally applied to a |Hebrew King(Hezekiah ?) and so the titles were originally appl,ied to him. Thus ther expression mighty God was originally understood in the representational sense - that he sat as King on YHWH's throne and so represented YHWH - in the same way that Moses, Judges and angels represented God and so are called Gods in the Bible - or in the lesser sense that 'God' can mean mighty one . In both these senses, the phrase well applies to Jesus as the Messiah, YHWH's plenipotentiary. Finally, the phrase cannot be used in a Trinitarian sense , as he is also called Eternal Father, and in the doctrine of the Trinity, the person of the Father is NOT the person of ther Son. This is modalism which is viewed as a heresy. I hope this helps you understand where I am coming from in this discussion.
