Seen a fair few KZbin vids of this beat. A lot of them don't get the groove mat has and it ends up too rigid. Matt drags just behind the click which makes the loop roll back onto itself more effectively, which gives it that endless feeling. You nailed it though. Just loose enough. Bad ass playing man.
