It is good to be able to see my faith from the perspective of BOEL because I am grateful for the work Solomo Baal Shem and the rest of the team are doing for seekers. Admittedly, some of the critical statements made within the video reminded me that I still have egoic attachment to my opinions. It is apparent to me that the BOEL team have a limited perspective of Jesus, which is totally fine and to be expected of non-Christians. And still many of the criticisms of Christianity, and Christian belief and practice are very true. Despite our various differences of opinion about Jesus, I am glad to be part of a community that is inclusive to all religions because it is unfortunately not the norm in my own religion. And regardless of the church’s reputation as being spiritually passive, I find that studying Qabalah is leading me to a deeper understanding and application of Christian scriptures. Thank you all.

When I think about Yeshua I think of his active life the healing and the feeding of the poor. Any dogmatic version of any religion causes suffering and hatred. I like to incorporate the active healing archetype into my high magick practices as well as many Qabbala elements. Your videos have been a tremendous help in that respect. Thank you!

Thank you for a beautifully done video, explaining the mystery of Jesus and his role here from a Qabbalistic point of view. Ever since I studied Edgar Cayce and his interpretation of Jeshua's mission to earth, I have been back and forth on whether I really considered myself Christian, since I never felt that his coming here was to die on a cross for the sins of the world just didn't make sense. How can we grow spirituality ourselves if we expect someone else to make such a sacrifice for us? Knowing now that Christianity was a creation of the Roman Empire to keep people under their control, believing they had to go through a priest to get forgiveness, when we can connect directly to God through our own heart.

Thank you! Really interesting points. I am Christian and to me the active (male) and passive (female) characteristics are perfectly balanced in Jesus Christ. Like the heavenly and the earthly aspects. To me that is the meaning of G-d became a human.

Great video. Lucid and comprehensive presentation of the facts about Jesus. I am agnostic as far as whether Jesus was a real historical person. Like you pointed out, there is no contemporaneous attestation and most if not all the sayings of Jesus were lifted from the Torah. The Christ is a Universal archetype of the Higher Self or Soul....which is both human and Divine. I think if Jesus did exist in history, he was an enlightened Jewish Sage who taught love and transcendence. People forget that Christianity started as a sect of Judaism. It is also true that the Jesus myth in the gospels is an allegory of the archetypal spiritual awakening process. Peace! Love this channel!

It makes sense that people would be curious as to Jesus' connection to Kabbalah. He was a Jew. One wonders whether he had been initiated into the Kabbalah, into the Egyptian mystery schools, in the India tradition of Sanatan Darhma, or Tibetan teachings. Many mysteries exist about Jesus' life between youth and his time teaching.

I would appreciate a video discussing the gnostic Christos and Sophia from a kabbalistic point of view. As Daath is Gnosis, does it refer to any of the contents of gnostic literature? (Nag Hammadi etc). And are Christos, the male, and Sophia, the female, represented as two pillars? What about Sophia representing the matter, matrix, mother? What does 'heavenly Father' mean according to Kabbalah? What about the 72 aeons and the archons? Do archons exist only in astral Yesod, or are they also in the abyss separating the spiritual realm from us? I would appreciate a video discussing this. And also the reason for prohibiting 'any graven image', and why in some orders, i.e. The Golden Dawn, they may use some imagery in their rituals. Thank you in advance!

The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:20-26 NKJV

The reason 1st Century Christians used classical mythological imagery for Jesus (like the virgin birth) is because in the 1st Century there was another human being who was also said to embody all of these mythological images. This human being was also known by the titles "Son of God," "God From God," "God Incarnate," "King Of Kings," "Lord Of Lords," "Prince of Peace," "Savior Of The World," and Redeemer Of The World" - and that human being was Caesar. The Roman Emperor, starting with Caesar Augustus, claimed to be divine. So, early Christians were taking the titles employed by the Roman Emperor who sat enthroned on the Palatine Hill in Rome, and gave them to a poor, illiterate, Jewish peasant from the Nazareth ridge in lower Galilee (of all places). This was treasonous. Rome had an imperial theology of 1) Giving Praise to the gods, 2) War, 3) Victory, 4) Conquest, and then 5) Peace. Jesus, Paul, and the early Christians claimed that Roman Imperial theology was wrong. The early Christian movement claimed that you don't get peace through war, victory, and conquest - all you get is a lull in the violence, which starts up again eventually. Rather, the early Christians emphasized peace through distributive justice. The early Christians claimed that all the things Caesar claims for himself, Jesus truly is. Also, there are plenty of independent sources that are evidence of the historical existence of Jesus - both canonical and non-canonical. For example, the Gospels of Matthew and Luke both used the Gospel of Mark and the Q Gospel as sources. So, Q, Mark, Matthew, and Luke represent a single gospel tradition. While Mark was written in the 70s of the 1st Century CE - the sayings in the Q source were compiled around the year 50. Now, the Gospel of Thomas, which is an independent gospel tradition, was also compiled around the year 50. Both Q and Thomas are independent traditions written roughly 20 years after the crucifixion; therefore, the material they share in common comes from a common source that is older than both traditions. Also, if we are in agreement that extreordinary claims require extraordinary evidence; then by the same token, ordinbary claims (like claiming a person existed) only require ordinary evidence. Therefore, the evidence is in the New Testament itself. The Apostle Paul, though he never met Jesus, does mention in Galatians that he met with Peter (Jesus' best friend) and James (known as James the Just) who was Jesus' literal brother. So Paul wasn't an eye witness, but he met two of them. For the ordinary claim of saying a person existed, the evidence is sufficient.

You failed to mention Jesus’s trial by the Sanhedrin. He was condemned by the Jewish authorities for various things, including sorcery. Jesus was a Jew. The Jewish people did not accept him as the Messiah, therefore Christianity was formed as a new religion, with many similar rules & lessons as the Torah. It is not to blame. Why can’t humanity accept each other instead of arguing about our differences and hurting one another? Love will save us.

I am glad to find that Kabbalah teachings are available now days to all people. And the various teachers of Kabbalah on the Internet provide many avenues for people to explore the wisdom found therein. I do think you are wrong suggesting there is no historical Jesus; however, there most likely are embellishments that have been added over the years. One day I hope we will find records through archaeology of the facts of Jesus' life. At the end you describe the coming of the Messiah and asking him not to answer the question..."Have you come before?" Why? That is funny. I think it would be wonderful knowledge whatever is his response, don't you?

I have a new view of Jesus now. As a celestial being, he seems to serve as a barrier to the pleasures and desires of the flesh, and this may be how he expelled demons and continues to do so from heaven. I also have a few points of contention and warning. 1. If Jesus serves as a barrier to the flesh then it may cause impotence for the inexperienced. 2. Jesus was betrayed by his own people and the great tragedy and savage explicitness of his torture and crucifixtion are important to the psyche as tests of self control and examples of faith, and I think that’s what Jesus stands for, especially to Westerners. We can practice and learn Qabbalah without subscribing to the Jewish faith. We may even need to learn Qabbalah so that we can continue to adore Jesus. Magical things I learned: Jesus was circumcised and is often portrayed as a baby. Both of these affect our emotions/the astral plane. FIAT LUX

Jesus was a Pisces, the corresponding WATER themes are in the New Testament: Baptism, Multiplying the fish, walking on water, washing the feet, water into wine, psychic, water pouring out of his wound while on the cross. All the attributes of a Pisces person can be found in the New Testament. Compassion, forgiveness, being merry with food and drink, highly prone to BACKSTABBING because they love so hard. There is so, so much of these issues are lost in antiquities. I'm with a personal belief that the more prominent figures of all biblical texts are veiled in allegories. Although I do respect the opinions pertinent to all religious believers. Never losing focus on the fact that religion is exoterics. That which sustains the masses. And esoterics are for the elect. But not limited there and unto. All and everything in Oneness with GOD. The one true God. For God is consciousness. That of higher levels of vibrational frequencies. For which the majority stems from the Ancient Mystery Schools prior to the Ancient Egyptian biblical times. Also not limited there and unto. Unconditional love and humility are the two Master keys in opening up to the higher dimensions. That's what is required to cross over the abyss. In order to earn your true spiritual rebirth in being born again.

This video has a lot of good information in it, especially when it touches on Christmas and Easter. Both festivities are for other Gods, not Jesus. Also, the mention of the scriptures in the new testament, most of them were teachings from the old Jewish faith. The fact that there is no true evidence that Jesus really existed, except in the new testament says allot about the stories of Jesus. Jesus was supposed to teach the laws of Moses, not Christianity. This is where a lot of christians get confused. I do believe that people who accept Jesus as their personal saviour, do get blessings from the holy spirit, such as speaking in tongues.

Babylonian Talmud, Sukkah 52 “And the land shall mourn family by family apart. The family of the house of David apart and their women apart” (Zech. 12:12). They said: Is not this an a fortiori conclusion? In the age to come, when they are busy mourning and no evil inclination rules them, the Torah says, “the men apart and the women apart.” How much more so now when they are busy rejoicing and the evil inclination rules them. What is the cause of this mourning? Rabbi Dosa and the rabbis differ. One says: “For Messiah ben Joseph who is slain”; and the other says: “For the evil inclination which is slain.” It is well according to him who says “For Messiah ben Joseph who is slain”, for this is what is written, “And they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him like the mourning for an only son” (Zech. 12.10); but according to him who says “The evil inclination which is slain”: Is this an occasion for mourning? Is it not an occasion for rejoicing rather than weeping?

Ok I'm not a Christian but you're literally using biblical docterine contradictory. Using it to call people out about turning the other cheek and etc..but literally diss it at the same time. I jumped on here with interest to become more informed but this video seems to have no understanding of Judaism and Christianity. Or it's purposely made to seem that way. Oddly call Jesus a myth but not Moses. It uses the oral law in conjunction with kabbalahism but sort of discredits biblical new testament. The old lady mispronounce parable. Par-a-ble so many times it's ridiculous. You state Jesus didn't fulfill the requirements but he fulfilled all requirements as stated he would in the book of Isaiah. The only people that said he didn't were talmudic and the Jewish authority that were against him. I'd also like to point out Jesus was passive in the sense he didn't come to wield a sword or fight human government but spiritual. Jesus was not a magician, the bible forbids of practicing in sorcery and magic. You also say Jesus didnt exist but used quotes. But you also quote biblically he was the the word..If he was the word would he not quote from the word. Why do you sound like the very same Jewish authorities that condemned Jesus. By the way the biblical messiah came and fulfilled the prophecy as quoted in scriptures but the same oral law and talmudic Jews that rejected him are still awaiting for their messiah. Jesus spoke in parables because those who didn't see wont understand the mysteries of heaven. Nothing was hidden except ones understanding.

Jews does not always mean hebrew. Hebrews are not always jews. This misconception is the result of misnomers usually because of translation where one has to finds the best words they know in the new language. Jew became synonymous with hebrew but that is not the case. Jesus was a hebrew. The line is dependent on the female. It is a tradition carried over in many sects of judaísmo today. Thats why someone cant claim to be jewish if there mother wasnt jewish.
