Jesus is worthy of our worship because of who he is and what he has done on our behalf. This should influence Christians as they gather for worship each and every Lord's Day.
1 Peter 2:1-5
So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. 2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation- 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. 4 As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

In islam , all you have to do is believe there is one God and Mohammed as his messager, and you will enter paradise if you do good works and give to charity or die fighting Infidels 😊

Just like the Pharisees believed when Jesus criticized them, for they believed they were better due to their "good works". But Jesus said NO ONE IS GOOD, NO NOT ONE. Someone has to pay for your sins, for God is just, and that someone is Jesus Christ. Without the forgiveness of your sins, you will not inherit the kingdom of God.
