So good works gain rewards, bad works lose rewards, but you remain saved It also tells us we are a purchased possession once saved, he owns owns us, has bought us, but how? As for being a Jew to be saved, once you trusted that gospel the following happens, Romans 2:28-29 King James Version 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. How does that work? Colossians 2:11-14 King James Version 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; His circumcision and perfect works of the law in completion both count for yours, Christ completed all works of the law, and once saved, you are in Christ and Christ is in you, that is when all his perfect works, count for your, sand instead of you committing yearly sacrifice of a animal, he becomes your one perfect blood sacrifice for all sins for ever. everytime you sin, you simply make a claim by his blood, witch has you fully covered, no renew needed. just one payment lasts a life time and he made that payment on your behalf before your eyes ever sore the day, your faith plus his works = your relationship with your saviour. So the prayer is? Dear Christ, i know you died and was buried and God rose you from the dead, i know you paid for all my sins in full when you became the one perfect blood sacrifice for all my sins and i accept that with faith, i accept you as my saviour and trust in you and all your finished works as payment for my sins and not of any works of my own, thank you for dying for me, please seal me with the holy spirit until the day of my redemption. Amen Remember the prayer does not safe, its your faith in it, you may lose faith in this gospel or God later? but its to late, you are sealed and saved.
