This TV miniseries was an EVENT in my Italian-American household in 1977. I was only 5 , but I remember everyone there, Parents , aunts and uncles … being shocked when they brought Christ out with the crossbeam on his shoulders. This movie is very special for me. I have watched it since I was a child. I´d rather like the teachings than the nativity or his death and resurrection. Today since it´s free to watch on youtube I watch it more or less ten minutes, different parts, specially chapter II and III, because despite I know it´s a mini-serie made by the ITC and Franco Zefirelli, I feel in my soul that I am in the presence of the Son of God. There has been many that has portrayed Jesus. They've all been good actors. My opinion, and I've seen several, I have yet to see any better than Robert Powell .we all have different opinions. And should not condemn other's on their opinions. After all, That is one of the commandments.
