Such a POWERFUL message!!! Every Pastor should also listen. I’m 33 years of studying God’s Word. But I never understood these verses in such a Spiritual way! I’m listening to this again as I follow along with your written text commentary. It’s not you, Pastor Guzik, lest you become puffed up! It’s God’s LIVING Word that you love and are sharing. I’m so grateful for your fervor to know and understand His Word! 👏💜✝️🙏

Please pray for me to enter Gods rest. I worry too much which is a sin. Oh for grace to trust Him more. Please Jesus let me enter into your rest.

I had always imagined the soul and spirit opposite from the way you explained it. But it makes sense the way you describe it.

Thank you Pastor David for this series of Hebrews, which you so kindly share on the World Wide Web. I’m leading a bible study in Scottburgh, on the south coast of South Africa and have benefitted greatly from the videos. May our Lord Jesus richly bless you and your church in the days ahead. Regards, Tony Simpson.

I love the preaching and commentaries. Just felt off in the closing prayer, when he uses the word “crazy” on God’s word and work, and much as I understand what he means but I can’t just accept it and say “amen” to the “crazy” work of God through His word? Oh goodness…

Good Morning from East Africa. I happen to have been following your teachings and am glad I am being enlightened. I happen to notice Video 7 that should contain 4:1-10 missing. Please would you direct me to where I can find it?

Thank you for pointing that out! There was a mistake in categorizing the video. It is now available in the Hebrews playlist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXfUfKippduSZ6c

Is God's word synonymous with God Himself?
@DavidGuzikEnduringWord10 ай бұрын
It may be said that "God's word" (the Bible as we have it today) is synonymous with "God's will," because in it, He has revealed His plan and intention for humanity, from start to finish. But the extent to which God is "the Word," as recorded in John 1:1, is more nuanced - when it says God is the Word, the Greek for 'word' is "Logos," which in itself is a concept much more expansive and complex than just "word" as we use it in English, and in the Gospel of John the Logos is meant to refer both to the Greek philosophical concept of Logos (reason, thought, ordered language), and directly to Christ Himself. So the "Word" that God was is both Logos and Christ. In that sense, God As Word is synonymous with God Himself, it is God Himself. - Enduring Word Team
