First of all, why are we still using the authors of the gospel to support points when the issue of inconsistencies with the eye witnesses accounts amongst these four are obvious? The reputation of those gospels is already damaged to begin with so everything else should be taken with massive skepticism. Second, I don’t understand why Christians have forced a doctrine out of prophecies that where already fulfilled right there in those Old Testament books in later verses/chapters yet for some odd reason they think it still applies to “Jesus”. Again if two opposing arguments can be found in the same book how assured are you that it’s actually the imprint of a “Deity” and not man made? It’s appalling how these preachers refuse to logically think about these things and tell their congregation what it is. And finally, mentioning or referring to a rabbi who supports the idea of a “Jesus” existence is weak. You can likewise find countless Jewish scholars and rabbi who will argue this “Jesus” either never existed or the whole thing was a fraud. To date there’s no first century historian ever mentioning this “Jesus” account save Josephus and even that it’s been proven and accepted by numerous Christian scholars that the so called text mentioning of a messiah is a forgery. Why they still defend the blatant lies surrounding this book just baffles me. Critical thinking and reasoning must be a compulsory subject in African schools because this is just too disappointing.
