Jesus, The Very Thought of Thee arr. Robert Kundick (Organ)

This is my performance of Robert Cundick's setting of "Jesus, the Very Thought of Thee." It is being performed on my home organ which is running Hauptwerk v3.
The sample set is the Notre Dame de Metz Cavaille-Coll by Milan Digital Audio.

This is a very beautiful arrangement and performance of this hymn. Robert Cundick was Tabernacle Organist during the 70's. I remember watching him on "Music and the Spoken Word" when I was a kid. I think he preceded John Longhurst at the post.

Thanks! I like this piece because it uses some of finer and more subtle colors this organ has to offer in contrast with a big French Toccata which demonstrates 1 color more or less (variations on full organ). They're still impressive in their own way, of course.

This is a lovely Hymn. Well done. Just woundering if you could do some of the late Alexander Schreiners Interlude, Woodland Flute Call, and of course The famous hymn I use to hear on the Spoken Word. when Mr. Shreiner was the organist. I do have a recording of Mr. Schreiner on the Skinner Organ, but to no avail the record is badly scratched.
