Voyager wasn't even my favorite of the franchise, but on some days, just humming this tune brings me to tears. Beautiful.

Virtual pipe organ? What a joke. You are listening to speakers being fed very poor recordings or pipes.

FYI, "Mohrentanz" literally means "Moorish Dance" and not "peasant dance". The title indicates that the piece is a fanciful (though inaccurate) representation of a Moorish (Arab) dance of North Africa or Spain.

I well know this rather difficult musical work often played by far quickly. You render all its beautifulness near perfectly. Congrats !

I feel like the composer blatantly copied Paul Manz’s Aria but the playing is nice

Well done, Sir ! You have no need to hide your face, I´m sure. OK, so I´ve heard faster versions with fewer mistakes, but it was a very good effort. Is there an even more difficult piece in the repertoire ?

When I lived in northern NV, I used to visit SLC all the time, and would go to the recitals at TS every so often. I heard this piece played over a decade ago, and came here to find you’d just posted this performance, and I’ve watched it many times over the years. Due to boredom of stuff to do in elko at the time, and seeing how good hauptwerk sounded with your performances, I decided to start building a hauptwerk console myself (I’m a tech hardware engineer). Although it’s still not perfect today, it’s at least functional. This is the first piece I learned. -Thanks for the hobby and the fun it’s turned into over the last 10 years, Rob. I’m still pretty bad at it coming from being a low brass player, but it’s still a great way to pass some extra time. Great to see you’ve been posting some new stuff, and very cool to see how your console and talent have evolved over the years since posting this video. Thanks!
