Thanks a lot, this was really insightful. Even though I have no attention of doing medicine it's nice to learn verbal reasoning from someone like you. Appreciate it

Thanks for your message! There are some decent videos on the MAT already -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/l57CnaKrepKsmpI www.maths.ox.ac.uk/study-here/undergraduate-study/maths-admissions-test I definitely couldn't pass this test! Well beyond my capabilities. Best of luck to you!

Hi Matt, thanks for these wonderful videos. Really insightful. Could you also introduce information for masters students planning to study at Oxford? Love from India! 🇮🇳

in preparing for the tsa, would it be a good idea to use bmat past papers for additional practice questions? the verbal reasoning at least seems pretty similar. thanks!
@kinseyyuen4793 жыл бұрын
The BMAT S1 is highly similar to the TSA S1. I found doing (almost) all the BMAT S1 and TSA past papers to be massively helpful in boosting my TSA score.
@JesusCollegeOxford15713 жыл бұрын
Yes, for sure. Good idea. The tests are similar.

Hi Matt, I'm considering applying for graduate entry medicine at Oxford, but only 25 people get accepted and most of them have a PhD. and a Chemistry degree. I'm currently studying undergraduate Psychology with Chemistry (minor). Do you think there's any point in me applying? I'd rather go into the graduate entry, given that it's four years and places emphasis on clinical research, but it seems rather daunting. What would you recommend? What can I do in order to stand out?
@JesusCollegeOxford15713 жыл бұрын
Grad medicine is competitive, but you should apply if you're keen to take the course. To stand out, you'll need to provide excellent evidence of your commitment to what is a tough degree (please see my video on personal statements for more detail on this). You will also need to perform exceptionally well on the BMAT. You can buy books of past questions, if you run out of past papers! Best of luck.

@@JesusCollegeOxford1571 Thank you very much, I will have a look. I would also like to ask if there is any particular difference between the interview for the grad and the undergrad medicine. Also, I will be taking GAMSAT as well - would a good score be at least worth mentioning? Thanks again.
@JesusCollegeOxford15713 жыл бұрын
Yes, I believe the interviews are similar for undergraduate and graduate medicine. Sorry, I’m not sure about GAMSAT, but good scores in pretty much everything relevant will be helpful to you.
