I tried painting density map the face is i can't see the black and white values its just model texture. How do i my mask?

Its not working. I applied density mask same as you told but its just not working. There are still same amount of hair even in black area of mask.

@@ahledanish4622 don't know if it's too late to answer,in 7:40,after he click save the texture button ,he also click the little button in the right which means baking petx texture to the disk.You must click those two button to actully save it.

Everything great until ptex needs to work. Completely breaks and icons to save ptex paint don't work. Or the tool doesn't 'auto activate' into paint mode.

That’s probably because your scale is not in cm. Xgen uses real scale values. 1 maya unit is 1 cm. And the bigger or smaller the object the bigger or smaller your numbers will have to be

@@JesusFernandez14 you put 40 in the density and become massive ammount of hairs, i have to put 900 to become some decent results. The fur from the dog in the workshop looks like yours

@@nicolasmejiavfx Thats because of the scale of the model. That will impact the numbers. Dont try to copy the numbers on the tutorials, if yours works with 900 go with 900, even at some points in time you will have to use thousands if the scale of the model is too big or too small
