45" from front of engine to transom. 18" from hull bottom to top of the highest point on engine (exhaust pipe) You could move the engine rearward more than mine, giving you a 40" engine to transom.

The donor jet ski setup in total would weight something like 150lbs. To compare, this 110hp jetski engine weights less than a 20hp outboard engine.

You sure could! But its much easier to use a jetski so that all the parts you need are included. Using a motorcycle engine would require all types of hunting and fitting certain parts.

What it means is basically "Engine Install". Does that clear it up? This was an outboard boat with a jet installed or swapped.

With 5 spools and 2 big tanks of gas, Im thinkin I made out well on this $1500 jet boat lol. Youd be talking several grand and ALOT of trailering to and from a fab shop, not feasible. I have alot of experience and this was my first time on alum with a new hobart spool gun. Ever use them beading TIN to plate? 1960 aluminum to 2020 aluminum? I admit they look horrible but are leak free and functional. Id challenge anyone with a spoolgun to produce ATTRACTIVE welds on a project with this kinda dissimilar materials. NOT FUN if appearance is your goal, you will get sad quickly doing something like this on a budget!
