JET CAR - ENGLISH - 13MB.wmv

This jet car is essentially a plastic bottle with wheels. It has a bent straw with one end on top and the other end on the tail end. When an inflated balloon is tied on the top of the straw, air escapes from the tail end and pushes the car forwards. Children simply love this beautiful toy. This work was supported by IUCAA and Tata Trust. @djpaulk i just had feeling it would turn out like this, and yes it would mean you head is a piss poor rocket. instead of trying to sound smart why not try to look the shit up before sticking your foot in your mouth. it does not matter what form or type of system is use to expel the gas/fuel/what ever out, if it is "squeezed out" or uses an electrical charged field like the ion "rocket" engine does. next time take 5 min to look it up and go troll else where, i am done.

@djpaulk if you want to split hairs then you could say air propelled rocket engine. as a rocket engine uses newtons law of every action has an equal and opposite reaction as its base. so the air being "pushed" out by the pressure has the opposite reaction on the car. to be a rocket it does not need to burn anything or have chemicals, it just need to use newtons law, which this does,

i love your videos. but you guys really need to learn what a jet and a rocket is. you guys have been bass ackword on all of your videos...this is more like a rocket car, not a jet car. dumb it down, a JET has an inlet and an outlet/exhaust , where a ROCKET has only an outlet/exhaust. but like i said i do love your videos,

@1crazyfocker "burn anything"?? exactly (fuel/oxygen/ignition) ,thats a rocket. A rocket does not rely on its outer casing to expell (squeeze) out . The fuel does that part.. So,if i inhale a lung full of air,make my lips into the shape of a nozzle and blow out real quick and this force moves my head backwards.My head is then considered a rocket??
