When I was 14 I was in a band with Jet and he asked me to show him how Diamonds went as he had forgotten. I think around 1967/68. He eventually got his thing back together and showed why he was the best of the best! R.I.P Jet and thanks for the pleasure of letting me play on stage with you even if I was a young sprat!

Terence Jet Harris sa narodil 6. júla 1939 v Kingsbury v Londýne dňa 19. oktobra 1958 nahradil v skupine Driffters pôvodného basového gitaristu Iana Samwella.V decembri 1958 Tony Meehan vl.m. Obaja predtým hrali solu v skupine The Vipers.Sobáš Harrisa s Carol DaCosta mal za následok Jetove depresie a nadmernú konzumáciu alkoholu. Lordan skupine zahral na ukulele skladbu Apache z ktorej Shadoes urobili 6 týždňový hit č.1. Richard v skladbe hral na bongach.V oktobri 1961 odišiel Meehan zo skupiny. Nahradil ho Brian Bennett nar. 9. februara 1940 v Londýne bývalý člen skupiny Wildecats. V apríli 1962 zo skupiny odišiel aj Harris, ktorého nahradil Brian Liquorice Locking bývalý člen skupiny The Krew Kats.

Meehan was a brilliant drummer but Harris an indifferent talent. Harris, however, was able to see and bring out the talent in others, often in unusual combinations for that time. @@MrUSSAM- Nope, it was after that. Jet and Tony were formerly in The Shadows who recorded original material, US artists covered their songs. The one thing I'm not 100% sure of is was Duane Eddy influenced by Jet Harris when he switched to bass guitar for his 3rd album, or did he record his 3rd before Jet started playing lead on his bass?
