Whoever commented that Dolly wrote Jolene in response to my previous comment all I can say is "duh". I live 30 miles from her hometown, read her biography and know the bank teller story that inspired the song. Now what?

Our society has fell into this trap of easy loving as one of my old flames is now informing me of. So many are falling into this lure of easy loving married or not! But that's not what the Holy Bible teaches. Sexual abstinence until marriage then the marriage bed undefiled forever!

Great tribute to Gary Paxton for writing Sensuous Woman as it begins to define how these women are. Their not normal and their passions are devilish and not normal. Trouble always lies just ahead!

Hard to believe, as I am a few months from 80, how Willie Nelson has been a regular part of American music for so long. Outlasted so many. Nobody has a bad word for Willie, and I don’t think I ever heard a song from him that wasn’t great.

It appears that ol' Conway wrote 16 songs, and some damn good ones at that, but none better than this one. This is the type of song all of your pop and rock friends (if you have those type of friends) make fun of because it's the genre of he lost his girl, his house, his dog, etc. Check out the young Crystal Gayle cover of it. Makes me cry to hear her sing it with that still countrified angelic voice she had before she got into pop in the early 80's.

I’m 21 and grew up listening to Conway Twitty, most people my age wouldn’t even know who Conway Twitty is. My dad was born in the 40s. So I grew up listening to Conway Twitty, Charlie Pride, amongst others. The Real music! The best! I’ll keep listening to Conway until my last days.

I was born in 1994 and even though he had already died, I know this song so well.. my grandma would ask me to play this song every time I came over. It has a special place in my heart forever.

This is country music singer actually Nashville Tennessee need to shut down cause no one can sing just like this and honestly they call people in Nashville Tennessee they they are actually single country music it is junk and dog can sing better than they have in Nashville Tennessee id used to go to Nashville Tennessee to the grand old house but honestly I'd definitely would not even walk around the corner to hear that trash that they are even hollow about on in Nashville Tennessee is not country music
