I appreciate the comment and info, but im not sure I'm following you... maybe you can explain a little more. I've seen people weld these things and I could not figure it out 🤣

3M 5200 Marine Sealant is what I see a lot of people Where are you located, and are you a member of the Franken Jet Jon Facebook page? Lots of knowledgeable people and information there. Im getting ready to start my first build with a 1648 and a Kawasaki STX 1100.

Hey Len! Thanks for your reply! Yes I've heard of that stuff, but got started with the flex paste and am impressed with how it's holding up! Yes I am a part of that page, great group of people on there! Can't wait to see your build my friend!

Someone should pre- build kits for transoms to make this easier for the builder, for each type of boat they could make a killing. Or build it to the needs of the owner.

That’s a good idea. It would be inexpensive too. Just some aluminum angle, and a spool gun. It’s important to stiffen up the transom. Mine has a lot of structure than needs cut out.

That is a good idea! They're now building intakes you can just weld together yourself, which is awesome! It would save a lot of weight over the jet ski hull and make installation faster and easier! Good stuff guys! 👏

Do you have a link? I am picking up 2 Honda aquatrax turbo jet skis for my build. The hull on those is extremely heavy! They make 165HP though haha.

I dont have a link sorry, there was a guy on one of the pages that was going to be selling them. I'll get it to you if I find it.
