Slop Crew really opened my eyes to how easily just having an open world to hang out and skate around with friends could be. I completely forgot how chill it was to just go around and do tricks for absolutely nothing in Skate 3. I hope at least with JSR3 they can elevate the platforming more. Add challenge levels like a Mario game, score attack and graffiti challenges. But tbh long as the OST is fire I'm good. Bring in 2mello and Cxldr3 to help~

yeah thank god for slop crew i loved chilling in skate 3 lobbies too but i'm not about to bust out my 360 just to play it again

For the soundtrack, my ideal sound would be something like Cxldr3. If you guys dont know him i HIGHLY recommend checking him out.

I'd like to also see the characters have more personality, they kinda did in JSRF but I'd like to see the characters have more dialogue, interacting with each other and grow throughout the game

I don't know if you've heard, but according to the same person who leaked the info on the new virtua fighter, there will be two jet set radio games. One will be a full price remake, and the second will be a free-to-play live service reboot. Same for crazy taxi !

JSRF is my fav game of all time. I’m a jrpg super nerd and play almost exclusively JRPG’s but for some reason JSRF is my #1 above all else

9:50 jsrfmp was a fan online multiplayer remake done in unity it was fun playing it but recently develop the lasting patrons funds to the severs ran out so the game is stuck offline, it was fun while it lasted but some stuff (i.e fan made characters) have returned to brc as mods.

Can they hire more people to make this faster or something? The only reason they're even making the JSFR sequel is because they saw Bombrush cyber funk and realized there's real money in this despite ignoring their fans asking for a sequel for years

Aye, between JSReboot and NFS unbound having the same kind of 'flair' particles I think it's safe to see it as some kind of trend that'll grow as a compromise between realistic and cartoonish art styles like a scribbly draw over in the next few years Also, sega seems to have bad blood with naganuma from the problems in the late 00's, it might be a case where he doesn't return, so it'll be interesting to see how the soundtrack goes from there

My hopes for JSR3: 1) I want it to be a retelling of the story. JSR was good but lacking in story. JSRF was even better but needed to be longer or better show characters' intentions. 2) Make sure the camera functions well, unlike JSRF, which sometimes didn't let you see where the next jump is headed. 3) The sondtrack slaps iust as hard.

Personally, I really do hope the trailer for JSR3 is just early footage. Cause that shit looking bland as hell boi! The level, they showed off is no where Dogenzaka Hill. It def needs some more style. It doesn't have to be low poly to do that, either. All you have to do is look to other cell shaded games like Borderlands. Or Sunset Overdrive, isn't exactly the same art style, but it nails the punk rock aesthetic. Talking Sunset Overdrive, I think the best possible thing they could do is put a PSO NGS level character creator in the game. With the rise of "Jetsonas" and how many people were inspired by JSR's art style. They'd be stupid not to. I think if they want do a LSG game a good character creator, with weekly challenges that unlock cosmetics, multiplayer out of the box and free map updates/events. Would kill. They also have all the maps from other Sega properties that people love. That with a little tweaking can easily be turned into Jet Set maps. I could be perfect. I just don't know that I trust Sega to do it.

They're making 2 games, 1 is a remake and the other is a brand new title...................... entirely live-service made............. yeah. New story and characters, but it's entirely live-service :(
