I always wondered, where you get these lovely monsters from. In the last view videos I got the impression you take em from the family album 🙃

Disappointed by the disparity of the output at the higher levels, but I do like the futuristic design and the ramping output so you can tailor your level to what you need at that moment. A mark II with on-board charging so both batteries are charged at once would also be welcome.

Tbh about 5K is about right for SBT90.2. I'm guessing Jetbeam has measured output at the LED.

Do you have Convoy L7? If so, how does it compare?

Any clue what bng is? Or why the manual says tail switch?

Nice comparison of the other torches. The FTO35 made a good impression. One query, it’s shown with over 100,000cd compared to the others? I was surprised the JB got as hot so quickly, especially with the amount of finning and only putting out about 5000 lumens. Bit disappointed it was down from the advertised output, might need IMR cells. What do you think F? Not worried about the green tint, could you see it with the naked eye? Superb review and night shots as always F. 👍

Lower levels looked greenish, not the higher ones. I thought about trying 2 Lishen cells but the output was decent enough for a SBT90.2, they are an LED that does get crazy hot straight away. Every SBT90.2 light I've every reviewed steps down crazy fast. FT03S throws well but only for a few seconds. Most throwers out-throw it after a minute or so.

I like the size and form factor. Thanks for demonstrating the ramping, the stepping UI are usually cumbersome on JB. Bit pricey but not a dealbreaker. Thanks for the reply F 👍

Another excellent review! I wish the JETBeam M64 didn't blink like that when reaching max. It could have just "split second" flashed, but that obvious off then back on would be an issue for me. Super bright, though. BTW, that Nextorch sure does a lot with the far lower lumens. Obviously has no spill to speak of, but impressive distance on it. Lastly,...I sincerely hope you recovered from the savage beating by that monster. :-(

Yeah, the flash at max made me think it was glitching.

@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Right. It is unnerving. And unnecessary. People will know it is on "max".....when the output stops increasing. ;-) Thanks for the reply, good sir!

The price is not right, if it was around 100 $ it could be an option, but 180 $ ??? Add 70 and you get a thrunite tn 42 v2 which is a real beast, and needs no ventilation, unlike the 700 $ superthrowers ;) - This Jetbeam thing tries to be a EDC Searchlight ? Who needs this ? On a normal nightshift you can work 90 % with your pocket size EDC, if there is an emergency, where you need a searchlight, you can always go to your car, or your backpack and pull "the big one" out.... If you want these 6800 lumens in your pocket, then there are a lot of better and cheaper options....

just sbt90. 2 emitter is 45$
@Tomcat_815 Жыл бұрын
Are you trying to tell me, i would not know this? You can buy a Convoy for 80 $ with the same emitter.... or a Wurkkos TS30 for 65 $ and both will be better as an EDC than this "Ballista" Thingy @@be4885
