At 9:00 in the video where the stone pillars are in the river it seems like a good place to metal detect and look for artifacts. People could have been standing on top of the bridge and thrown stuff off in the old days down river with the current.

My pop was a WWII combat veteran. I think the only time he felt truly free of his memories was when he was flying down the Potomac river in his beat-up bass boat. He used to take me for rides. It was awesome!

I’ve been in a jet boat fishing the Susquehanna River for smallmouth and being able to go where propellers can’t is a big plus. Thanks for the ride along and for taking us by the scene of your attack. I don’t know anyone who’s been tackled and mauled by a rabied beaver while hunting and lived, except you. Looking forward to PawPaw munching season in Aug/Sept. Happy hunting.

Out here in Oakland, we have the Pacific, and San Francisco Bay, but we don’t have rivers or creeks like this. I, of course, look at the land and can easily see large numbers of men in uniforms. Did those men, 160-some years ago see those woods and the rocks in the river? Yep.

CHIG, Funny you mention having to get Rabbi shots, in 1968 I was sleeping in a tent and, my buddies dog kicked up a couple rats that were under a shed well, the rats ran up the tent and fell through the canvas that was rotted,, and, landed on my face & one rat had bite me real bad went to the Dr. where they cultured the wound to find out the rat’s were rabid and, had to receive some 12 shots in my stomach remember that well it was not pleasant.!!
