I can say i saw him playing that way at Mogliano Veneto with Le Orme some years ago, shook his hand downstage after the show and asked for his signature. The most incredible thing is that i had a pizza with him in a pizzeria near Mogliano square before the concert! we were at the same table and i did't had any idea who he was! we start to talk about Le Orme and he didn't talked or mention himself all along the dinner: he only introduced himself as Clive and that's all! For sure a man down to earth and a great, great musician!

Love this Dharma For One and the Carnegie Hall from Living In The Past. Never liked the comparison or competition between Jethro Tull drummers, especially Clive and Barlow, they are both brilliant, but I always thought Clive Bunker had a warmer touch, a more human, whereas maybe Barriemore Barlow was more technical. Stalicone While I agree Baker was a ham fisted drummer who loved African drums too much, Bunker adopted a few things from him. What Bunker, and Moon have in common at the time is they used their entire drumkit to drive the band. It was a beat, not filling in between beats. It's funny that Bonham, and Moon were influenced by American jazz drummers, while Ginger was so into it's original African roots.
