Love the set lists of the 1999-2000 shows. Plenty of deep cuts and light on the overplayed stuff. I went to a show in CA on September 1, 2000. They dropped “Steel Monkey” but added “With You There to Help Me” and two cuts from RtB. Great show.

My first Tull concert was 1969 just as Stand up was released, probably the best of my many concerts over nearly 50 years. The worst was Ian's solo concert of his Homo Erraticus tour, probably the one sign he needed to take note it was time to give up.

Ian's voice does sound pretty good. Wish it was that way now.

I’m with you there. For me, Tull ended, or should have ended in 2002. The Dot Com lineup should have been the Tull swan song, not the Tull-lite thing the Ian affair became afterward. That said, I love this era of Tull and remember them just like this. For me, that experience was at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in California in 2000 and Davies Symphony Hall in 2002. Great memories.

A saw this line-up in 95 & a thought they were crap.. especially the drummer..how can you have the likes of Clive Bunker & the brilliant Barrymore Barlow , even the late great Gerry Conway (rip)..then pick him ..(Doane Perry)

You're right, but if you look at other videos of this same year is curious... the voice changes from one concert to another, I think it is the beginning of the end unfortunately

Haha. The end hasn't happened yet. I still love how he sounds. I know, I'm crazy. :) I first saw him during the "Rubbing Elbows" tour. Nice quiet songs. Best "Up The Pool" ever. So much better when he's not competing with loud guitars and drums.

Well, of course I'm not referring to the end of his career, just at the end of his voice. My first Tull concert was in 1974, Ithink has a key date in Ian's voice, it was in 1984 in Los Angeles, Ca. Since then Ian apparently ignored his doctors and did not recover well from his problems, to my until the early 90's Ian's voice keeps up pretty well at concerts, but when someone like me has seen Jethro Tull at his best it's hard not to compare his voice and it's clear that he can not currently sing high records, for my Ryan's help was indispensable. In spite of all this I will continue to go to all his concerts, since his only presence fills the stage, I have seen few musicians with his personality and charisma, for me he is a genius, not only with the flute, I also consider him one Of the best with acoustic guitar, and of course one of the best composers. Ian/Tull forever!!!

I saw Jethro Tull on this tour. It was a great show. I'm pretty sure they didn't play the witches promise much to my father's disappointment. I was happy just to see the band and I didn't care what they played.

Having seen 14 Tull shows over the years, it is painful to watch Ian now -- not his fault, really, injury is next to the ultimate sacrifice. However, if you're the kicker on a pro football team and you've lost your feet in a train accident -- you're prob'ly well served to stop kicking the ball.
