It's a total treat for any Tull fan to discover this stuff, and such good quality ✌️ always nice to see Peggy too, love the 80s and 90s shows. Martin with that screaming guitar, Doane as loud as ever and, I believe dear Maart Alcock RIP. SUCH A GREAT LINE UP.

It's now 18-oct-2023, everything else is as you have written. My KZbin is full of tull concerts and documentaries at the moment. There is a 2part documentary from 2008 BBC arts which covers the whole history of Tull, includes input from many of the band members, manager, etc. Plus clips from tours.

Consummate musicianship here. Given the complexity - and breadth - of this music, not many could perform it like these guys do. And the compositional ability of Ian Anderson is truly remarkable. Tull were the bomb.

Hands down Jethro Tull was the best concert(s) I have ever seen. Given the bands I saw during the 60s and 70s, trust me, that is no frivolous statement. First saw them on the Aqualung tour, and that one remains my favorite. Subsequent shows were all fantastic. Ian Anderson is a showman par excellence, and one of the greatest poets of our time.

The concert P.A was setup conservatively, main vocal mic a little low in the mix, but what a treat to see Tull from their middle period, I gauge their 'vintage' as being from 1969 with "Stand Up" this is definitely a 90's production!

One of a select few live shows for overall track diversity. I would have been STUNNED to hear this live- musical dynamics were maybe best ever because of contrast of acoustic melody and electric sheer loudness.

I WORKED WITH JETHRO TULL IN PHOTOGRAPHING THE BAND PLAYING LIVE FROM 1977 TO THE YEAR 2000.. I FIRST SAW THEM PLAY LIVE IN CHICAGO IN 1970. IT HAD BEEN FOLLOWING THEM EVER SINCE.. THE FAVORITE ALBUMS ARE STAND UP PASSION PLAY BENEFIT SONGS FROM THE WOOD HEAVY HORSES.. IN MOST RECENTLY THE BOX SET NIGHTCAP WHICH IS AN INCREDIBLE COLLECTION OF IMMERSIVE ACAPELLA IN STRINGED INSTRUMENT VERSIONS ACOUSTICS.. THE LONGEVITY OF JETHRO TULL IAN ANDERSON AND THE REST IS LEGENDARY.. THEY ARE THE ONLY BAND WHO HAD CREATED A BLUES JAZZ COLLECTIVE LYRICAL AND MUSICAL LIBRARY OF STORYTELLING WHICH WILL SIT IN YOUR MEMORY AND EACH TIME YOU LISTEN YOU WILL SMILE.. IF ANYBODY EVER HAD THE CHANCE TO SEE THE ELBOWS TO HER OF IAN ANDERSON SOLO ACOUSTICS IN 2002 YOU WERE IN FOR A GENUINE TREAT BECAUSE THE VENUES HE PERFORMED IN WERE SMALL AN AVERAGE LESS THAN 3,500 PEOPLE AND HIS FEW AS 800 PEOPLE IT MADE FOR A WONDERFUL INTIMATE EVENING OF FERTILE CREATION.. ENJOY THIS STUFF NO MATTER YOUR AGE IT'LL GROW ON YOU WITH A RAGE AND YOU'LL NEVER FORGET THE TIME YOU SPENT LIVING IN THE PAST WITH JETHRO TULL
