The series of Jethro Tull album releases in this format are great and, possibly, the best examples of how to really present the music to the fans. I look forward to this album as I recall watching the broadcast from Madison Square Garden. The performance made me an instant fan of the band Jethro Tull.

You don't play this kind of stuff? Ian, what on earth and beyond. This is some good music. You should pour yourself a pint and give it a listen. The young guy playing the flute is a bonafide character, a real showman of sorts with some musical skill.

A great album, but the highlight for me is Conundrum, documenting the great Barriemore Barlow's drum techniques. Of all the great drummers of the 70's, prog or otherwise, he's probably at the top of my most-underappreciated-drummers-from-the-period list. Glad to have this performance to listen to!

I saw Jethro Tull for the first time at the Providence Civic Center in 1973 and most recently last November at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. I’ve worn out vinyl, cassettes, 8-tracks and CDs of many albums in each era. I listen to many other artists and genres of course, but often pop in my AirPods and crash for a while listening to classic and more recent Tull.

"Ladies and gentleman, welcome to Festhalle Bern. Sit back, relax and enjoy the evening with..." Hello Ian, I'm what you might call a lifelong fun of Tull. This video just reminded me of mid 70-ties when Tull gave their first concert in Belgrade. Then I acquired Songs From The Wood which is to this day my favorite, together with Heavy Horses and Stormwatch. From that point on I researched Jethro Tull backwards in time and collected everything the band (in all its incarnations) published afterwards. Funny thing is that the Madison Square Garden concert (together with the famous "Russian microphonics" 🤣) was about the first thing my family watched on our brand new color TV. As for Bursting Out I heard it so many times I think I can sing or whistle every single minute of it even today. So thank you Ian and the guys for improving my life with your inimitable music and super-funny shows.

I would love to hear an in-depth talk on how Mr Anderson developed his breath control. He managed his incredible pitch and tone while actively moving on stage also being on one leg. Switching between flute and singing without time for a proper inhale. I just don't understand his breathing muscles or how he controlled them. I have seen other performers manage this well like Axl rose and freddie mercury but non come close to being as proficient as Ian Anderson in this regard

One of my fav! That album was my first from them in cassette where they cut sweet dreams due to room in the tape ...so happy when I got the cd with sweet dreams on it....best song and the video of that song is priceless... Love all Tull's acoustic songs And like "A" album as a different twist to the band, recommend the DVD of "A"

I listened to this entire video whilst standing on one leg and with my left little finger in my ear to check my harmonies were in key. Mad, yes, but not half as bonkers as the splendid Mr Anderson.🤭
