The fact that you call them Serbian Muslims instead of Bosniaks, by the name they call themselves, shows just how much you have no love for them! You love your twisted interpretation of who they are and that's disrespectful on so many levels. It's actually an insult to human intelligence!! Since you talk history... when Ottomans conquered that region, then it was part of Bosnian Kingdome. The founder of Novi Pazar is the same founder of Sarajevo. Basically since king Tvrtko added that territory to his kingdom in period of 1373-1377 until the Congress of Berlin in 1878, all that was Bosnia including Novi Pazar, for little over five centuries. Referring to those people as Serbs is just plain faul and ignorant as well!!

I don't know why you talk about different RACES (???!!), when you talk about Bosniaks, Serbs, Albanians.... We are the same RACE but of different nationalities. So, when you offend somebody like this, it is not RACISM, it is nationalism. Because we are all the same WHITE race. And, if we talk about alcohol, it is not so common that Muslims drink rakija, but it is not uncommon. And if we talk about beer, they really like it and they drink it. Believe me, I am from Sarajevo, Bosnia. Now I live in Serbia, because only rare Serbs stayed in Sarajevo. It was 150.000 Serbs in Sarajevo, there are only 7000 now.

you have to understand that in North America issues are always about race and in ex-yu obviously about religion. When they say race they actually mean something else
@JetLagWarriors
@JetLagWarriors 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I really gotta stop saying the word race because I honestly don’t even know what it means. Some people say white is a race, but then what’s slavic? Albanians have different physical features than Serbians. I am not sure if that makes them a different race, but you can see it when you travel to both. Anyway thanks for watching and commenting 👍
@drpavlovic1411
@drpavlovic1411 2 жыл бұрын
@@JetLagWarriors I like your videos, you promote our food and country in a good way. I just mentioned the word 'race'. There is white, black, red, yellow race. Some sources invented some new ones, but this is the basic division. I can remember, in school, the question was 'Which race are Arabs?' And I wrote: 'dark skin white rase', of course, it is wasn't right, they are WHITE. All kinds of people who are not black, but with darker white skin (Mexicans, people from India, Arabs), are still white. So, it doesn't matter if the facial features are different from nation to nation, if they are black, they are black. If they are white, yellow or red, they belong to that race. It is more than funny to me when somebody says to the same race member that he is 'racist'. You can't be racist if we talk about people in the same race group. You can be a jerk if you harass women and children, or old people. But, if they are white as you are, it is not racism. If they are black or yellow,..., it can be. If it is among nations, it is nationalism, chauvinism. But it is not racism. It is funny to have some issue with the white man (and you are white) to say anything about racism.
@drpavlovic1411
@drpavlovic1411 2 жыл бұрын
@@joerankovic4128 It is so wrong. If the bad thing is among the same race, it can't be racism, because a white person will never say to the other white person that he/she is white???!! Americans use this word (racism) totally wrong. You can be a bully, if you attack the weak. You can be a nationalist, if you offend some other nations. But to be a white American who has some argument with the other white American, it can't be racism.

When you offend somebody, it is not racism or nationalism, it is chauvinism. Chauvinism is a hate towards some group of people, usually it is hate towards somebody who is from a different nation, but it can be homophobia, racism or if you hate someone who cheers for a different club for example.

Real Albanian look smaller, different type of hair (more mediteran) and skin. So they look like Greeks and are very quiet have not aggressive language like Kosova Albanians and are more educated. I am glad that you are enjoying yourself, dear friends 😊 I have always been honest and told you the truth about a place, people, food. You asked where Muslims came from in such an Orthodox country. Well most of them converted to Islam during the Ottoman Empire which ruled here for a few hundred years. We respect those people and we are aware of who they are, although many from that area will never admit that they are actually of Serbian origin. Due to the policy at a higher level that is directed against Orthodox Serbs, Muslims who are of Serbian origin do not have to admit that. But if you are interested in something more about this topic, you can read what famous Muslims from this area think, such as the famous writer Mesa Selimovic, who wrote and talked a lot about it, as a film director Emir Kusturica. I have nothing against the good people from that area, because I consider them brothers, but I am obliged to give you the answer to the question and tell the truth about everything as always. Enjoy beautiful food 😊 💛 🍞🧀🍖🍗

The food is mostly 'homemade' or 'from scratch' and from superior ingredients. Serbian/Balkan soil is rich in key minerals that's giving food such superior flavor/taste.
