Opening the seating part of the rare seat is not for more storage space. You need to open that in order to fold the seat's reclain back flat. Without opening it, you can't fold both 40/60 flat as you showed in the video. This is how exactly my car seats are in the Hybrid Wrangler 4xe (USA), which is to accommodate a hybrid electric battery under rare seats.

The luminous design in front is not a tow hook it has a different tow hook in fact it's not a hook at all . 2 the seating cushion you have to open first to get the recline angle you expecting on the rear .
