Mac Jones eeked into the playoffs his first year and everyone in NE thought that was awesome. But they whiffed on their lowered pick and free agency wasn't all that bountiful. Rodgers is going to continue to take big hits because this offensive line has a ceiling that won't be extended, hes already banged up at the midway point in the season, the defense isn't good enough to stop decent offenses from scoring, and the coaching staff is so woefully over their head that when crunch time comes to make the right calls and choices, they will choke. What does the playoffs do if you get the short bus wild card spot because you were the least shitty team? 41 year old Rodgers comes back and you what? Draft an offensive lineman and hold the QB position hostage for years? Nah, this is over.

Here's the reality, Jets got the W for sure, and they actually deserved it because the Texans offense is nonexistent with their WR corp being smashed by injuries and that defense choked. But holy shit the Jets tried multiple times to let them sneak in and win over the Jets and this is why the season isn't saved. They were given gifts and they tried to pee on them instead of saying thank you. The Jets are going to shit the bed again this season and be mathematically eliminated and everyone will cry the blues about not getting trade value for players when they could. This team is cooked, that Rodgers run was unreal. He looked so slow and clunky that a senior citizen on a power chair could have caught up to him but somehow they let him get the first down. The Wilson catch was otherworldly though, kudos to him, catch of the year easily.
