Jets currently at Stage 4 of the season: winning a couple games at the end to worsen draft position but create a sliver of false hope for next year. Why the fans fall for it every time is beyond me

Zack Wilson, who is considered a bust, did better than Rodgers has done this year. And if you're going to try to blame the defense... they fired the coach that the defense liked because of Rodgers. Rodgers is not the problem, especially now that he's healthy. The defense has imploded this season. First, they let Bryce Huff and John Franklin-Myers leave. Franklin-Myers was a big leader in the locker room and the front office's lack of respect for that demotivated the whole defense. He was also their best run-stuffer, and the difference is stark from last year. Jermaine Johnson's season ending injury was another huge blow. Finally, Woody fired Saleh, whose defensive mind was respected by everyone there, and deprived the defense of their coordinator by moving Ulbrich up to head coach. They also let Zuerlein's poor kicking lose them too many games early in the season before addressing the issue.

I’m a big fan of the idea that attitude reflects leadership. I think when you’re quarterback is arrogant know it all who doesn’t want to put the work in and gets away with it that trickles down to the whole team. I knew this was going to happen the second the jets management said it was cool that Rodgers went to drugs in the woods instead of coming to camp. I’m not a fan of Jalen hurts on field game, but the dude is a hard worker, first one in last one out kind of guy and that bleeds down to the full team. Hurts attitude make the whole franchise better. When Brady went to Tampa all the players saw how hard the greatest of all time works and it forced them to step up their game. Players have talked about how things changed when Brady came in. Because attitude reflects leadership. Rodgers cares about Rodgers and that’s it. Even if the next qb isn’t as good on the field, like hurts, if he’s a better leader and humble hard worker the jets will be a better team. The jets need to eat the hit and trade Rodgers for whatever they can get. Rodgers is not a leader. Edit: obviously the owner doesn’t help as he’s another arrogant know it all who thinks the world owes him a winning team. Again, attitude reflects leadership.

Rodgers, went from a decent young rebuilding program to Jets' chaos that never had a tangible offensive line, bringing old ineffectual team members with him. Shows Rodgers lack of leadership and his inability to school rookies that he plays on field with. Packers should have cut him five years ago. Mobility is clearly not what it was, but processing and throwing the ball from any angle, any platform to any spot on the field is still there. Only valid concern is his ability to stay healthy.

Do u know New York Jets have highest fan attendance in the NFL ALONG with Cowboys despite Jets play in small area, so that means Jets hve really loyal fans and keep coming back because Owner is serious about spending money but no offense he needs to let a different 'thinker' come and become manager have more autonomy and freedom in free agency and schemes. Aaron Rodgers is very conservative Quarterback , he is known for deep balls but reality is he hardly takes chances unlike his predecessor brett farve. . Jets need try out different managers and coaching . Like look at San Francisco it worked with Shanahan and John Lynch . It also worked with Jim Harbaugh who 49ers were lucky bounced back running him out of town despite two or 3 nfl championship appearances. Jets owner needs to Call san francisco on advise, the 49ers got great success with totally opposie conflicting managers and schemes. Jim harbaugh who i love, he has old school running game, but shahadan was ahead of his time with broncos and his son runs 49ers with john lynch who played with senior shanahan, they run bootleg scheme offense. So like San francisco owernship is great person to ask on how to try different management coaching. Since 49ers been succesful running completely different types of management styles coaches from west coast to jim harbaugh old school, to revitalized zone running play action bootleg Shahanan style offense.
