The only reason why jett passed eli is because eli knew jet was gonna pass him anyway and.. it was a perfect opportunity for eli to watch jett. This aint over.

your trying to bring logic lol, Jetts first race back way less seat time and a much fresher injury, yes Tomac won the first moto Jett in second when both riders know the 2nd moto will dictate the overall. Jetts easing his way back into racing. Its funny all sx everyone kept making excuses for Tomac's poor Race results then out of the blue he would have a better result and all we heard was Tomac is back, beast mode etc etc, then next race back to excusing his poor result with all sorts of lame reason's. Jett's first race he takes second and all of a sudden Tomac's a threat haha think we have already seen enough to know that's not true

I don't think yesterday was what you'd call Tomac's beast mode, but it was definitely good enough to keep 4-5 seconds on Jett because he hit the line in rhythm section every time. When Tomac is injury free and just riding well, he's about what we saw yesterday. Had he been able to keep hitting his line in the rhythm section (looked like he kept losing traction when it got real dry), I think his gap would have sustained enough that Jett wouldn't have been close enough for a pass. Tomac was still good enough in the sand and everywhere else that he'd have held the gap. We're in for some great racing imo.

@@marmaleg5309 beast mode is such a cringe term, basically its pointing to a major inconsistency in his riding, sometimes he rides good most of the time not so good, people aren't even sure when or if a ride was beast mode. Jetts first race back from injury his taking it easy and still took the overall lol had to win second race as everyone knows. Jett completely disrespected Tomac passing on the outside. as for losing traction that's a joke Eli was running a paddle, Jett didn't even have to do quad not that I think it was really quicker at all

@@charlesthorn3116 personally I think Tomac's beast mode is just a flow state. All athletes or even video games can enter it. Tomac has even talked about it, where everything just clicks, comes at you slower. Doesn't happen all the time, but with Tomac I think it just happens more than others.

@@charlesthorn3116 hey maybe you're right and Jett will just holeshot the rest of smx and check out. I'm just happy he might have some competition. Chase doesn't seem like he's at all the same rider on that KTM on a supercrossy track. Tomac is definitely going to be better than when he was coming off that Achilles injury
