i may not be in the right tax bracket for this lad, but i am still impressed that robosen is basically making transformers, like, real transforming robots. these are still pretty basic conversions compared to other designs, but it’s still fascinating to see the fiction of these robots coming to life.

I wasn't really a big fan of the Optimus Prime because it's just a toy that doesn't need YOU, it can play all by itself. But Grimlock has so much personality and style. That transformation looks incredible, the voice acting is great, the weapons look cool, the only thing that would make it better is if it could be displayed outside of its case without it giving under its own weight.

There was a beyblade ripoff called...turbo shifters? I think?. It was from either Hasbro or Moose. Anyway they were rubber/plastic with a magnet in the middle, and you would get a glove with its own magnet inside and you could hover your hand above it to move it

I have the masterpiece grimlock that pretty much looks and transforms the same way and even though its transformation isn't that bad for a masterpiece figure, it is still a lot more tricky than a regular transformers toy so the fact that it seems this self-transforming figure can do that same complex transformation without changing much is really impressive (especially with how much movement options it has).
