Wow! Great video. I own a DJI Tello and it's amazing for the money. I fly mine more indoors and it flys in every room with ease as I'm sitting in my living room. I didn't know I can fly mine that far. Not that I would because it has no RTH feature. But none the less great to know.

i loved this drone. I have since bought a mavic mini but seriously wish you had the option to fly it without the controller and use the app like you do with the Tello. Quick, convenient, and easy.

@@Mobamba7230 I got the mavc Mini, my brother-in-law bought the Maverick pro and my nephew bought the mavic pro. Seems we both have the same ability and pretty much the same camera although they do have a slight better clarity but not enough to make the price difference. If I come into a bit of money heresoon perhaps all upgraded to the mavic Air 2. But for now the mavic mini serves me perfectly well. I don't know how they make a that cheap. 100% recommended.

almost lost mine..witha xiomi wifo extender and a gamester controllee..when the controller lost connection to the fon the it just flew itself about 60 meters away..first time i was scared shitless..but them my fon managed to reconnect to the drone without the gamester controller..damn thankful :)

If its the Bluetooth controller you are killing your range with the extender or not. Try to find the T1S and fly with a wired connection. Bluetooth and WiFi run on similar frequencies.

It has so many amazing function like for one the return to home key where you could not find in the old tello app. Have a great flight my friend.

@@carlosmarabillo Hi thanks for your advice , I did have the app and also had the WiFi repeater but pushed my luck and lost it lol , I went 368 m away and it lost signal and video and I lost it , I have a video on KZbin but I was gutted , when it drops out you can't do anything your up shit creek , it doesn't handle wind very well but I did enjoy it . I have just today bought a Mavic air combo for £ 800 pounds so I better be dam careful , the thing to do Is don't push your limits , I'll cry if I lose this one lol 👍

I have the dji spark controller combo which is way better but it’s 4x the price the range on a spark with controller is about 500m in my country due to ce wifi channels only being allowed. But I will say the tello is great value for money and was tempting but due to the area I live in having on average of 20km/h wind daily I decided on a spark due to its ability to fly in wind

I have both the spark with the controller, and the Tello. I can tell you I actually use the Tello more at this point. The reason being is that it can legally fly about anywhere, it is so small it can fit in a pocket, and for only $100, I’m not nearly as worried about losing it.

jettlash1000 I fly my spark nearly anywhere and due to its size no one is fussed about it I don’t really care about the regulations but I fly it in a safe manner under 120m I also like the range and the ability to get better footage from a 2 axis gimbal but the tello is a good drone but in my area it simply would be useless due to it being windy also if I was on a holiday wanting to get some shots of the area firstly I would be limited by range secondly if there was a 10km/h breeze I couldn’t use it and finally it has less battery life not a lot less thought. The tello isn’t a bad drone it’s just not a functional option for everyone.

Is it just me? The tello app sometimes shows some Error with a code and directly disconnects with the wifi repeater (happens sometimes at 7 or 11 meters) ... so I won't fly this thing more then 15 meters because if it happens further away it would be a death sentence for my drone since i can't reconnect automaticly... I am sad now

I have a tello usually I don't go more longer than 30 meters and you can only fly 10 meters above the ground but with some apps you can make it go higher

There’s no GPS, so no rth. If you lose connection, it’ll hover for awhile, then land straight down from its current point. That’s why flying over water with this is sketchy.
