I just bought dji avata 2 and went through hours and hours of (more or less) useless videos... I just found this 50-minutes, very well made and highly educational video. It's really the best on YT, by my opinion. It's great how you explained D-Log and colour grading just as a bonus topic on top of just a drone itself...

This is one of the most useful (if not the most useful) video in the Avata 2. Every little bit explained. Many thanks.

ESC beeping: ESC stands for Electronic Speed Controller, it is what controls the rpm of the motors. It's ability to beep is a great feature for finding lost drones! Great tutorial, thank you so much!

Ordered my drone after watching this AMAZING VIDEO, I then ended up in hospital and had an operation on my spine, 4 pieces of metal in my neck, so not been able to fly my new drone. Watched this again 7 weeks later and now can’t wait to get out flying my drone. Let’s hope the metal in my neck won’t start reading the signals and I start picking up a local taxi rank with the headset on. 😂😂😂😂 Thank you Jeven for great videos. I explained to my partner that your videos break things down and explain everything like the viewer is a child without making us feel like a child. You really are great at your videos and explaining everything. ❤❤❤❤

I’m waiting for my Avata 2 to arrive, and it will be my first FPV drone (first drone at all, really!). I’m about 20 min into the video and just wanted to leave a comment to say thank you for such an amazing thorough overview. As a total beginner, I really appreciate it!!

ESC beeping more than likely stands for Electronic Speed Controller beeping. But i like escape beeping, its more memorable. I just got my avata 2 today and am excited to get out there. Thanks for the video!

What's funny is that others left the same exact comment that I wanted to leave after watching some other video's on the Avata 2. This is really informative and I'm grateful to the creator for posting this. He did an excellent job going over the product step by step and this is super helpful if you own this or are planning on getting one. Yes this is the best Avata 2 video out there.

Great video bro! I learned a lot about the DJI Avata 2 and how to fly it. I especially liked the tip about using the motion controller in your left hand if you're left-handed.

This is without a doubt the best video concerning the AVATA 2! Since watching it has increased my fun flying it %100, thank you! Especially on how to think through the footage I want to film & not waste my time! But I have to admit I use this for the “fun” of FPV & as an original AVATA owner (upgraded) have taken FPV to a new level! I’ve subscribed to your channel & am looking forward to your next Drone related info (considering an upgrade to the Air 3s from original 3 now) that I’m certain will be helpful in my decision making process! Against thank you for this excellent stream!!!

I love my Avata 2 Fly More Combo. I just got it a few days ago, & I crashed it yesterday, on my 4th battery. I didn't break anything. I bought an aluminum gimbal protector, that I installed today. I flew my AIR 3 with the Goggles 3 & Motion 3. Even though the AIR 3 is faster in sport mode, it feels slower than the Avata 2.
@hummerzdca6 ай бұрын
While it just got delivered Monday, I won’t be flying it right away. For first time FPV, and as the Goggles, and motion controller are also compatible with my Mini 4 Pro. Will learn the controls on it because of its obstacle avoidance. Then, after I feel more comfortable, will give it a go with the Avata 2’s great flying experiences. Looking forward to it. Thanks for all the posts!

22:54 you are saying that the props will stop rotating if i activate this feature, so what about the drone if it in the air ? Will it just drop down and damage itself ? I don't understand the point of this feature if that is the case.
@MrBacilon7 ай бұрын
At 20:40 you say the home point can be updated to "wherever the drone is flying at the moment", I am confused, I thought it was supposed to update the location of the controller or the person wearing the goggles in case you happen to move from your original starting point, as if you were flying from a moving vehicle or boat for instance...
@brandon96897 ай бұрын
Most DJI drones can do both, you can choose either for the situation at hand, once you click on the menu the pane should have both options to choose from either Aircraft or controller He really should have entered these menus to give clarification, instead of just glossing over them.

Great tutorial Devon. this is my first FPV drone. I'm used to the Mavic Pro series so when I went through a couple of the DJI tutorials it looked a lot more complicated than you just made it. Awesome breakdown. Thank you. Work in the film industry and also have my own production company that focuses on human wildlife coexistence stories. Super excited too now that the Avatar 2 firmware update just added 4K 100fps.

Great review. I am left handed as well and do not like this version of the MC. Too small and the scroll wheel is buried in the palm of my hand. The record button is even further in the palm of my hand. I a scratching my head wondering why DJI thought it was smart to make this controller smaller than the Avata OG. Thank you for the review.
