Very informative, thanks! Recently I've shot a 6 hours timelapse and wrote a blog post about it, but now I understand that could desribe it in a bit different way (though I mentioned some challenges and the story behind it - this was my birthday and we went for a night shoot outside the city with my friend).

This is such a great example of what story telling is. I am still learning how to tell the stories I want to share in a more engaging way!

I used to live in the valley north of that mountain range - hiked up there with a buddy and his BMX bike with side car and blasted down the fireroads. A great outdoor playground in the middle of the city. Great info as usual, thank you!

Good video, I do like the b-roll of the hills in the cinematic transition. As it looks realistic

This is how basically every reality TV show that’s about car customization operates. Lol there’s ALWAYS a deadline to be met, there’s ALWAYS hurdles to overcome, and they ALWAYS succeed. Lol it’s smart

Curious. What's that mic on the desk beside you? Looks like a Rode Podcaster? That's NOT the one recording your sound though? Says you used a shotgun mic...I'm guessing it's hanging above you out of frame somewhere? How's the room audio...do you have to do a lot of post processing to the audio you get?
@JevenDovey Жыл бұрын
Sorry the link was wrong in the description. I just fixed it. I used the Rode Podmic for the audio in this video.
@sibertiger17 Жыл бұрын
@@JevenDovey ah ha ok and how is it for audio in the room? Seems pretty far from you... lots of processing after? I'm a Podcaster using the EV RE320 and it's right up close to me...when I'm farther back like you are it gets all the room noise!

Congrats on 1m subs! I have a scuba diving channel (diff account) and am looking to share experiences from dive trips but have trouble getting shots I can edit into a story logically. Any tips? Should I write my story script before I go out so I make sure to get shots for the story? Otherwise I have random underwater shots and don’t know how to link it to a story.

Am I being the only one more pessimistic here. People don't have the patience to hear the problem or challenge or thinking process etc. They come here for what they want, not what you want to tell them. Rather than telling your meh everyday story, why don't just get to the point and save everyone 4 minutes of time?
