Jew, Tuskfish, Cod, Dolphin Fish | Memorable day with my Daughter

This is what making memories is all about. My Daughter catches a range of species during QLD snapper and pearl perch closure. Jew fish (mulloway) Cod, Venus Tuskfish, Moses Perch come over the side while fishing the reefs off Brisbane ( Moreton Island, Stradbroke Island ) before hitting the Wave Rider Buoy where there was hundreds of dolphin fish.

Greg, loved it! My little fishing buddy is 28 now and she still fishes with me. A tip with tailor (from a beach fisho with scars), putting a finger in their gills makes them gag and open their mouth.

Hi Greg, looks like you had a great day out there with Holly. I don’t think it could have gone much better. Nice reflexes with Holly’s rod early on, I thought it was about to slam into the side of the boat. She has some skill with rod but Obviously she gets her looks from mum, 😂😂.

better than hanging it from the head. Best practice is to support its body weight if you intend to release the fish.
