Jewel has helped me navigate through my teenage years. I love her songs, they resonate really deeply in me, and we share the same purpose of bringing happiness to people💚Greetings from Portugal

She is fearless, charismatic and brilliant. Mastered the art of intellectual and emotional intelligence in her 20s. Great example for so many young folks.

Once I began listening to Jewel speaking here, I couldn't pry myself away, even for a fresh cup of coffee. She is an amazing young woman.

Maybe part of her brand is to play up how she overcame challenges. It seems unlikely that she was never approached by modeling or acting scouts. It seems more likely that she turned down opportunities in order to play up the victim card. If true, it was pretty clever, because she certainly has a more distinctive and lasting brand than the average model or actress.

Her father was abuser. And then she went back to her father? based on what saw in her some videos. I would never forgive a father that abuse the wife and the children and make the child to move out and make them homeless. I would never meet this father again, no matter what. She was lucky, she could end up in a different pathway, regardless her talent. I would be very embarrassed to be on a stage with father after what he did.

forgiveness is so important, necessary really... what was the path of his soul when she went back? we forget that the other people grow as well. holding on to a hurt only slows us down.

She sounds very intelligent but I didnt feel like she really said anything. None of it made real sense. I get she wants us to find inner happiness but didnt grasp the rest.

why the bragging about brands and stupid powerful women?

Cloud Dweller I don't hear bragging. I hear a genuine person; who has gone through great difficulties in her life and has overcome and become sucessful. There is interest and value in learning from someone who has overcome numerous and great difficulties in life and I'm happy to hear an interesting story from a resilient and sucessful woman and not only be entertained but glean important information. It can be very valuable to learn from others experiences, rather learning through what can be costly, painful, and time consuming personal experience. Those that are wise are willing to learn from and not be dismissive or denigrating of others. I and many others are happy and intrigued and interested to hear her story and insights; even if you are not interested. You would do well to re-examine your attitude and unfortunate negative comment. It will be to your credit to reconsider your response, it will not be to your credit if you are unwilling to seriously reconsider, by listening closely and gaining a greater understanding.
