And he said, she’s easily one of the best singers ever. Definitely you should look up her music. Bit equally, she’s one of the best humans ever too. She’s brilliant and just radiates as a human being. She’s authentic and vulnerable and transparent and tells her story because she genuinely wants to help others.

I love Jewel. I’ve listened to her before. Her insight is so helpful. As is yours, Ed. You are both two of my favorite people to inspire people with your words. As a survivor of large amounts of chemotherapy and the damage it causes. I will say this…. Trauma will cause damage to our brain, our nervous system, our gut health, etc. Toxicity of chemicals or trauma both damage is physically and internally. That damage can bring about depression, anxiety, and living in the past because our brain is not functioning at its fullest potential. Increasing your level of health, staying away from processed food, detoxing our body, AND working on our emotional and mental health go hand in hand!

To answer Jewel's questions, to me what's most important right now (at the ripe young age of 53) is determining who I am, not who I was externally groomed to be. I am post-multiple traumas and neglect, single, and really want to dig in to discover who I am without all the external voices and expectations (and some internal if I'm being honest). More examples of how Jewel worked through her experience with this along with some tangible action items or exercises that might assist us in our journey. Thank you :)

I cannot tell her today because she has already cried once because her expectations were let down. I hope she finds the letter one day and maybe I will share it with her when she is at home this Christmas. I will however definitely share this interview today! Thank you - how amazing!

I love your show Ed and can’t wait for the next one to air. Each one gets better. I love this one once again for the fact that Jewel is being her 100% authentic self. Share the struggles she has had in life and that is what we need more of. The world is so superficial or phony. In my world I hear everyday, it’s only a finger suck up and get on with life. But people don’t realize that your fingers are your most used limb on your body and when I take the time to make them think about the struggles that finger amputees have. It changers their perspective…Keep improving the world.❤️🙏💪🤙😎

Thanks Ed and Jewel- the two most influential heart-centered insightful persons for sharing their wisdom and perspective for life. Life is a journey of self discovery and it’s a process of inward force working itself out into outward form. We are not here to merely exist but to live a life of purpose. Self awareness is the key to transformation. Falling in love with ourselves and constantly reinventing and refining ourselves are the great ways to tap into the mighty power within us and to find our true calling on this earth. Just like Ed and Jewel, what they offer as part of their soul missions are exactly what the world needs. We are the masters of our minds and the creators of our lives. Imagine if each of us makes our lives to be our best work of arts, what wonderful world we will be living! Thank you 😍

Wow! This interview literally just changed my life. Thank you Jewel & Ed, I am so grateful! Jewel asked what would specifically help so she can write her amazing book. I wanted to answer- I think the last part about teaching people to fall in love with themselves. I think this is something we may have when we’re younger if/when we get to pick things we loved to do when we’re young. But it can be lost when we’re older as we have responsibilities & our parents etc. So I think parts of the book teaching others to love themselves & teaching us about the dilated & contracted & making a list of what things do that is huge! Because if we focus on the dilated thoughts, feelings, & actions, it seems like we’ll fall more in love with ourselves bc we are doing the things that make us feel good! I think this would be huge to teach all ages & I Cannot wait for the next episode with Jewel on Ed’s show how she teaches us self worth & falling in love with ourselves more. Thank you so much! I can’t wait to do this dilated & contracted practice. So grateful!

This is a beautiful interview. My Mom was moved enough to share it with me and here was my reply. I thought I’d share it because it answers to Jewels request. The whole concept of observing yourself as someone of value that you would truly take care of lovingly like you would a best friend or a child that you love and wish the best for is very impactful and helpful, I find. Here was my text; “Thank you for sharing Mom. Jewel is a very smart and all around beautiful person indeed! “You don’t fall in love overnight, you fall in love with yourself over time” ❤️

Love this episode. Very hard to not judge yourself and frequently be reminded that you are worthless. That’s my problem. Usually comes from parents and family members who belittle you with the status, money, growth in their life. Make you compare to your life to others and have a low self esteem. Working on it to be happy without judgement but very hard.

I gotta tell you …I personally think alot of her inner wisdom …is the “spirit” that is given to children during the quiet isolating, cold winters in Alaska when families come inside together and spend hours cooped up all bundled in …then stories get told …and children slow….They have no choice but to listen and wisdom is inparted…..And children who are victims are observers… they watch and notice …just like a deer in the headlight watching for where the next motion is coming from so they know what direction to run …Jewel has observed every aspect of nature, energy, emotion, and she is a hunter. She’s a survivalist, and even though her lessons came with great heartache, her grandfathers gift is the Warriors soul

As the child of an addict, this hit me in so many ways. Especially when Jewel said ‘my take away from my childhood was I must be worthless of my own parents are neglecting me.’ I have always been blessed to have a super involved dad but how could my mom choose drugs and men over me and my brothers when I was just 13? My own mother didn’t think I was worthy so I must not be. Now at age 53, hearing Jewel out it so succinctly has shown me why I constantly feel not good enough and not smart enough. I also loved when Jewel said ‘I won’t stop trying until I figure it out.’ Wow. I love that mantra!!

Bro. Ed. THIS was hands down the best interview yet. I listened to & now watching it. I shared SO MANY books, videos, seminars, notes to my mother for the past 10 years trying to help her heal while I was learning to heal. This is the first one she listened to…in 10 years (because I think she loves Jewel). Nonetheless, I got an apology that my inner child needed to hear for my entire life. Thank you Ed. Thank you so much Jewel. So excited for where this will lead in the relationship with my mother. PLEASE have Jewel back on. #MAXOUTBABY

Ed, one of your best interviews. And Jewel I am so impressed at the intelligent and intuitive, and unconventional approach you've taken in dealing with life's challenges, and now helping others. Very touching. One of the most impactful things you shared, the principle of contraction and dilation/expansion with attention to thoughts, feelings and actions. You were made to be doing what you are doing. Thank you to both of you.
