This song was originally added to the end of the soundtrack score for "Ride With The Devil.." an unknown but magnificent movie (except for some propaganda) directed by Ang Lee and which starred Tobey Mcguire, Skeet Ulrich, Jewel, Johnathan Ryes Meyers, Jim Caviezel, Simon Baker and Johnathan Brandis (RIP) Music by an excellent artist for an excellent movie..

Woe that is so funny ...I just got done watching the movie and heard this song and had to find out who sang it and it was Jewell! Nice call! The movie is 98% true according to historians ! My favorite movie right now and excellent for all who get a chance to see it !

heres a story for jewel fans... I was sitting on my sisters doorstep last weekend waiting for her to come home and let me in. As i was waiting, a big red ute pulls up outside the house over the road. It was BLARRING this song (whats simple is true). It was so loud! Anyways, after the song finished(they obviously waited till the song finished to get out of the car :P) this big tattooed guy hops out of the ute and goes into his house singing the same song. I couldnt help but smile. :)

This is the album version. She never re-recorded this song. The only one she did off of the "Spirit" album was "Jupiter", which ended up being "Jupiter (Swallow The Moon)" for radio and the video. "Who Will Save Your Soul" was re-recorded while she was making her first album "Pieces Of You" so the version you hear on the album is the version they ended up using on the album and the single and video. "You Were Meant For Me" and "Foolish Games" were re-recorded for the single/video versions.

@doyoulikesprinkles Err, I don't think it serves the same point as a britney or christina video. I think it's supposed to further the extremes of images. The cold frozen land and then the quiet intimate melted moment. I don't think it is supposed to be an appeal to your sexual senses, I think it's supposed to convey the metaphor of the song and cinematography.
