This is the expansion that non-JP players broke the party meta for leveling. It was so much faster to gain xp if you went after those VT colibri and just dps'd them down and moved onto the next one. I still remember the shift from needing a BLM for the magic burst, along with just the right comp of melee for the right skill chain. The game was never the same since. I've actually got a video of my old character doing a solo Light skill chain on a colibri just outside of town on my channel lol Extra chill mix this time around, very soothing :D

Sam/DRG burn pts using polearms, 4 sams a BRD, and a RDM. Made leveling PUP at these levels very fun hahaha. Good times though. Used to just solo outside white gate with my flag up waiting for the invite.

@@aur5881 I used to run an all DRG/WHM party. soon as someone hit below 50% HP, you'd pop your healing macro to swap the right gear and boom, full HP again lol

Thank you! That's definitely something I like to hear. I'm not sure if my FFXI work would fit perfectly in a bog-standard "Lofi & Chill" playlist with all its eclectic instrumentation, but I try to sort of blend the two different "worlds" together, if that makes sense.
