I love all of the fan reaction videos I've seen for Time of the Doctor. I thought I'd try and put a few of them into one video so that the reactions could be seen simultaneously.

My compilation only takes a little bit of their respective reactions, go to their individual videos for the full experience to see how they reacted to other parts of Time Of The Doctor

I like how everybody's so sad that Matt is leaving but when Peter comes they laugh or at least they look like they forgot about Matt for a second because they were su surprised :D Moffat plays it well

Moffat knew after all that build up, that the regeneration, if played like the previous Doctors, it would pull behind the sadness and sorrow of seeing Matt leave, so he made it as shocking as possible, like when Tennant regenerated into Matt, they needed a shake so they could leave behind the grief over the Doctor that left, at least for that instant

One thing I note-- with infinite amusement-- is all the "reactors" (mostly the ladies, I note) who already knew that this would be Smith's send-off, it's been known for months at the time, and yet they are pleading for him not to go, as though somehow their voices could be magically heard through the television screen and somehow rewrite the taping, the script, and the simple biology of a Time Lord. Myself, I just stared in astonishment at the speed of the final change-- and then found myself laughing hysterically at Cavaldi's lines. "I don't like the color." "Of your kidneys?" Priceless.

I forget how emotional this is for some people. I was sad but still really excited. I cried when 10 regenerated and was upset when 9 regenrated but 11 seemed to hit quite a lot of people.

you know I have to admit. when I set this video up in After Effects and I rendered it, I thought there were gonna be all kindfs of problems but when I watched the rendered video I couldn't find any of the problems I thought I'd have. It was like a miracle

I got it from a friend of mine. he built my computer and gave me a bunch of software to do multimedia production . I have the entire CS5 Suite

Blake Dale see the weird thing about After Effects, for some reason every now and then out of nowhere I'll do a project and click render and it'll go for a while and for no reason it will become unresponsive and if it does, its dead, you gotta kill it and reload it. last night when making this video I never even got the the render process. It went unresponsive 3 times just trying to place the clips. I found that for some reasoin it couldn't handle more than 14 clips at a time. so I had to choose them carefully. If I tried to add 15 I'd lose the whole thing. the first two times I put it together I failed to save it, so three whole times I had to set it all up and finally when I got it and saved it, I was aable to render it without problem

I think I must be one of the rare persons who cheered in that scene instead of being sad. I didn't dislike 11, but I love Peter Capaldi so much (while I was indifferent to Matt Smith), that I was impatient to see him become the doctor. So I wanted to get rid of 11 so that I could see 12. And boy I wasn't disappointed: 12 was even better than 9, my old favourite doctor
