My Grandad, Joseph Gee, worked at that bench. He worked there from age 14 until they shut up shop in 1980..

my Dad was a tool maker at a firm around there Could it have been Harrisons? He left there and went to work at Suttons selling items to students at the Jewellery school (1970's) Dennis Checkley
