Green and pink are opposite on the color wheel so they actually pair well together in other contexts but when you also consider the fact that the pink was warm toned and the green was more of a cool tone it just makes the contrast far more off putting than attractive. So sad they didn’t just go for that pink gem

It was the pink diamond for me! 161 facets made its sparkle beyond brilliant and the pink diamond complimented the gold ring beautifully! The emerald stuck out like a dull sore thumb, but everyone has their own taste in jewelry. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@meatshacklesit looked far more cohesive. The warm toned pink paired with that cool toned green just looks tacky. While it may “stand out more” it’s definitely not in a good way. The pink complimented the rose gold and made it all come together to create one beautiful piece that actually resembled a legitimate rose with a gem center. Now it looks like a piece of party jewelry you could pick up from one of those coin machines outside a grocery store
