This video resonates so much with my own experience, finding out what works and what doesn't by just doing it. I came across soldering clay (in a moment of frustration) and for me it was a game-changer (a similar story with masking mud). Good point you made about using the GRS third hand as a heat sink - just wish I could afford one! Anyway, a helpful video, nicely presented!
