This is the first reference to jewel weed I’ve heard of since I was a child. I got poison ivy, and my mother’s boyfriend, who was a botanist used it on me. It worked better than anything.

This is my favorite plant, absolutely! It grows like crazy on our property and I use it all the time for mosquito bites, and have used it for bee sting and poison ivy. Works 150% I frequently tell people about it and they poo-poo it and think I'm exaggerating or something. That it's not possible... Well the joke is on them. More powerful than aloe, in my opinion. Only drawback is, it makes you more orange than Donald Trump! LOL I love it anyway. Excellent video! You are a gorgeous spokesperson for our friend "Jewely". 😆 Much love and peace from Ontario, Canada.

I appreciate the fyi on the plants. It's great that you are exploring the plant based natural treatments. You might want to explore some healing means involving rocks and spiritual energy and the balance of it as one not in energy balance can result in disorder. Also that rocks can be purified for the production of minerals such as iron, and copper which the body needs. In your own exploration of plants you might spend some time on the medicinal benefits of foods which are common in your area. Some common foods such as onions exist and have medical properties. And a garden is something that can add to the ability to provide healing. Addressing the issue of the current plant it is good to know that the plant is of use. I would like to see your exploration of nature's immune system protection as plants like echinacia and those fruits that produce vitamin C can provide protection from disease. Though I think that there is probably not one cure all plant, some plants do provide some defense and immunity. This is natural immunity, and from nature and like anything that comes from nature not everything is entirely good or bad but rather that it is the natural balance in nature that creates everything. I am not going to occupy you with my philosophy but know that in spirit nature has a higher spiritual plane and that is energy. In balance, and having no form.

I found a plant on my property. I brought it to the north shaded side of my house and now it and plantain have taken over. You can also give back. Save seeds then go plant them or broadcast them back to the area you too them from. They can take over. But, not a problem if you use them for salves. Also, just cut them leaving the roots and some leaves to regrow.

Myrrh & Frankincense, is my recommendation, although they don't grow around here. There may be some coniferous resin that helps. Small amounts, sublingual. Try not to swallow too much at a time, or may upset stomach, in which case probiotics will help recover flora.

Yes. You want the juice in the stem at the highest potency, when the energy in the plant is moving up to bloom flowers. If we were harvesting the flowers then yes we would wait, but it is the stem medicine we want.

😆🤦♀️ummm Just to give you a little insight 😉🤫....I am far more connected with Creator, the Great Spirit and all life then any religious wacko like you, trust me😆🤦♀️ Would you like to know why? I don't judge Unless you hurt me, I don't hurt you I love everybody, not just for what they believe I have respect for all living things, including the EARTH 🌎 I don't live my life one way, and then another way on Sunday😉 My church is outside where GOD ACTUALLY IS I have respect for every living being, not just those who look and think like me I talk to the plants and animals and have a strong connection to the world around me Above it all,...when I don't like what somebody else does like a KZbin video, I keep it to myself and don't watch 😆🤦♀️.. Not sure how somebody so opinionated and religious ended up on a channel named Modern WitchDoctor? 🤔 And just to give you a little advice.... do some research before you call people pagan, witches, Christian etc. It's almost laughable because I follow Native American spirituality, and the belief in Creator (your same God, just not as evil 🤦♀️) Paganism is the belief in multiple gods including earth, sky, water etc, gods. So message back when you grow up and do a little research😁.... And Hey, if you wanna be happy in your life, let go of that hate for all those that don't believe exactly what you believe😉

@Logan Little TL;DR - You don't embody anything that Christ taught, so you should really stop pretending to proselytize; it is not what you are doing in the least. Interesting...so, you do realize that what you are doing is exactly what Jesus, the Christ, would not do, right? Have you actually read and interpreted the Holy Bible, or do you just take the parts you like, and go on your merry way hating and denigrating others? For all of the people I have met at churches or who proclaimed themselves as Christians over my 35 years of going to church, I have seen that most have not taken to heart the spirit of Christ, and therefore, know nothing of the godliness they believe they have. Jesus did not put down the downtrodden or the sinners; he ate with them, cared for them, and loved them. He came to them in calmness, peace, and love, not anger, hostility, and hatred. You have much to learn about your faith if you do not know the heart that Christ had for all people, regardless of where they were in life or their religious views. I'll even help you along a little: Mt 22:36-40 -> "36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Mt 7:1-5 -> "1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." 1 Cor 13: 1-5 -> "1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;" 1 Jn 4:8 -> "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." 1 Jn 4:20-21 "20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also." Jn 4:15-19,26-32 "15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet." Jn 4:15-19,26-32 "26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. 31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of."
