awesome work mate - i use a 12 foot Wilson rod with a Vanstaal VR175 with a 50-pound power pro braid to a 50-100 pound leader depending on what I'm doing but there is nothing like using a massive paddle tail or a leavey lure and slow rolling it at a breakwall at night and feeling a "snag" stop it dead during the retrieve then the fight ensues with big head shakes and powerful runs

I'm still yet to get one on a hardbody, I've put in many hours so far, got a couple leaveys, croakers and HR. I've not had a vanstaal in the hand before, I do like my saragosa 10k with 50lb sufix 832

I’ve trying to use the 6” swim shad powerbait but it seems to be too heavy and sinks too quickly?

I am fishing it in about 7m of water and I count to 30 seconds and it usually hasn't hit the bottom, there is usually a little current

I get these lures from dinga.com.au Berkley swim shad is the 3 pack, or the larger ones are the giant ripple shad

The swim shads come rigged, the giant ripple shad come unrigged or rigged, make sure to get them rigged they are perfect. There is a larger size not shown in the video, don't buy them they are way too big.

Hey mate do you have any websites that have the 200mm ripple shads in stock because they dont make them any more and are the best lure for jew by far ??

I just had a mate hit me up for some, I had 15 new 20cm ones here and he took 7. It sounds like they are just all sold out everywhere he was looking for ages. He mentioned Mo Tackle couldn't even get any for him. If I come across any stock I'll let you know.
