Heavenly Father, The Psalmist tells us to ”pray for the peace of Jerusalem”. So I pray for peace for Your chosen people, Israel,and their beloved city today. You have planned for Israel, provided for Israel, and protected Israel for thousands of years. But as in days of old, there are those today who seek to harm, even destroy, Your people. So I ask You to keep Israel in Your loving care. Put a spiritual hedge of protection around Your people and their land. Watch over this nation as a Good Shepard watches over His flock, and may Your chosen people find their ultimate safety and security in You. While You watch over Your people, may Your Spirit awaken in them a hunger to embrace their Messiah- the One wh died for them- until they see Him face to face. We pray this in His name, Amen.

Great. New testament answers one question that the old does not. The state is not the answer. It is always going to corrupt and fall apart - chaos - and then a new state appears that does the same thing again. Exodus, in short. So is there another answer? Yes. Redemption. Meaning (in essence) that you have to be able to change, as a person, all the time, and make small adjustments in your beliefs in order to keep updated. So, take on the sins just means you have the potential of all the hell and chaos all that other humans are capable of, and you have to realize this. And you have to be willing to die - that is, let go of something you value, to achieve something (hopefully) better, and then turn into someone that can understand and adjust to the world. And thus, bring the world forward. Or else you are stuck in dogma and rules and trying to adjust the world to your believes. And that is what Jesus is a symbol for. He took on the sins, he died for all of us, an he transcended into heaven. So, if you are honest and aim as best as you can for something as good as you can think of - this is going to give you a deep meaning with things. I think this explain the explosive power in the NT.
