For math I highly recommend 'Everything You Need to Ace Math in One Big Fat Notebook'. It breaks everything down in a verysimple and visual format that would've saved me a lot of tears back when I was a kid. 😄

I love how you break this down. I look at a lot of different homeschoolers and yes, most are Protestant. I find that as an Orthodox Christian, that I still have to look through the Protestant curriculum because we have differences in theology. So for Catholics and Orthodox, we generally will also look for secular curriculum or more general Christian curriculum because some of the content can be anti-ancient church. Anyway, thank you for your contribution to the homeschooling community! I also work with CM Plenary and I LOVE them! Take care!

We use the Blossom and Root curriculum (secular) and add Jewish lessons. For math we use the Wild Math curriculum.

I love your point about age-appropriate activities. I have bright kids who take in information very fast, and it is so easy to forget that they still need it to be delivered in a way that suits their age. Good point about the fine motor skills too; we do a lot of gross motor skill stuff but maybe not so much of the finer skills. Lots to think about!
