The Judaea Capta coin you have pictured is actually showing a male captive standing with hands bound behind him and the mourning Jewess sitting on the right. There is another version of the coin which shows Vespasian in military dress with spear and parazonium standing on left of the palm tree, which is featured on the modern day medal you referenced in closing your presentation. And ironically, it was to Vespasian’s credit(!) with whom Rabbi Yochanan Ben Zakai negotiated the establishment of the Yavne yeshiva to continue the study of Torah and ensure the survival of the Jewish people. Your video raises a lot of questions that when listed, would be too long for the comments section. What I would like to know if you have done a presentation on why Iran is so venomously against Israel. Israel is far away from Iran and does not pose a threat to Iran or its resources. It would interesting to learn more details on why the Iranians and/or their government despise the Israelis.

I think it has to do a lot with domestic issues in Iran. The regime is shaky, identifying external enemies like Israel and America is a weak attempt to unify the country (very Orwellian).

It's where I work. We have some campuses which are only for men, like mine, others which are only for women (Lander College for Women), and others which are co-ed. My campus and the sister campus serves the observant Jewish population.

Hi Henry. I think your binary explanation is a bit unfair. Your stark choice between Israel and Hamas is way too binary as though there cannot be anything in between. I have Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry and have always supported the rights of Jewish people to be respected in security, free from antisemitism. However, what is happening in the Middle East is a most shocking and horrifying form of retribution, totally merciless and ruthless, grossly out of proportion. I hate to hear about it on the news each day. There is no humanity in it. It makes me wonder what has happened to the Jewish soul. I weep.
