In village, town or city one of the most joyous occasions
in which we share wine is, of course -- a wedding.
The girls of my time did not fall in love, but the father's would choose a suitor from the young men of the village for the young girl that he has. And the young men would come to the house and would drink a cup of a Covenant to make a covenant for the future marriage, and he would pay the bridal price to the father because he's about to take his daughter away from the family.
From the moment the covenant was made and the cup was drunk, it was time to start preparing the bridal chamber.
Son, we have to start work, but remember one thing, I will be the one to decide when the chamber is ready.
This is the way Jesus, our Lord said to us, he the bridegroom, the father alone and only the father will decide when he the son, the bridegroom will come to meet his bride.
This year of preparation in which the young man goes to prepare a chamber for the wedding, the young woman needs to be prepared for the marriage. She usually walks around in the village with a veil, not exposed and prepares her heart and knowledge from her mother about married life.
When the Bridal Chamber is finally ready and my father gives me permission to go and marry my beautiful wife, that's where we're going to have our wedding.
Using branches taken from cypress and cedar trees
planted when the bride and groom were born,
four male relatives hold up the Chupa -- the bridal canopy.
The bridegroom joins his bride under the Chupa which --
like the heavens - declares the glory of God.
In God's presence the couple share wine, sacred vows and 7 blessings.
And after the ceremony there is always a joyful celebration.
When our Lord blesses the union,
within a year a new son or daughter is born to the happy couple.
The first child is a fruit. As farmers as people who grow up in the fields, we always think of fruit, the fruit of the land, but to have your own fruit from your own family, that's a great blessing. And the occasion itself, the delivery, wow, what a miracle it is, we thank the lord for each moment that we have a healthy child, to come and have the next generation and teach them the word of god and to give them the blessing that he blesses us each day.
From childhood I learned from my father and mother, to honor god, to love god first and to keep his commands, and this is something I want to pass to my children, from the time they are young kids they will learn of god, of his graceful acts towards us, they will learn to love him and to follow his ways as well and to keep his rules; and not only God, among people, to love and to honor their mother and father as I did with my parents, because that is the word of God.

Jesus gave many references of a Gallilean Wedding different than any others, in the scriptures about Father, Himself, His Return to gather His bride etc even the announcment inviting one Father to anothers home to make an arrangment was called a gospel which meant nothing but goodnews !

I am a bit disappointed at some of the details that were omitted. From what I’ve learned, the Bridegroom could come at anytime; often at night, so the bride and her accompanying bridesmaids needed to be ready with oil in their lamps and dressed to go as they heard the blowing of the shofars, announcing the imminent arrival of the Groom. I’ve also heard that the bride was lifted up and conveyed to the wedding, where her feet did not touch the ground; a clear foreshadowing of the Bride of Christ being taken up to Him in the Rapture. Overall, the Jewish wedding is a perfect foreshadowing of the Rapture of the Church!
