When the Rebbe explains something it is very clear. The Rebbe's words are very clear. There is a special continuous flow to the Rebbe's narration - a logical and cohesive development.

You know, Greeks never invited to the Holy Table, you know very well, when Alexander the great comes in Jerusalem, a committee from sages expect him out of the wall of the city, because they know from Daniel prophecys what they come, and Alexander never take a single gold coin from the Holy table. Shalom.

Although this young lady converted to paganism she still talked to G-d. By her words it's evident that she assumed G-d is the one with the power to consume the karbanos, or the wealth.

When so many think in a rebellious defiant thought process, Rabbis and anyone else can't get through their head what they try to teach. Few actually desire to know such things.

This one makes me cry. I’m writing about and for Orthodox feminists who just cannot stay… and this Talmud and this explanation by the Rebbe with Rabbi Kaplan contain within them all of it. And yet, no one seems to understand. Except the Rebbe.

That's an incredible explanation by the Rebbe and the presenter. A difficult subject which turns out to be important because of why the event happened. Thank you so much for your comments Rabbi and to the Rebbe, of blessed memory, for his teachings.

"wolf, wolf why aren't you helping the Jews?", the rabbi didn't answer the question posed. Why did God not intervene?

no, the point is no matter how much she rebelled she didn't lose her intrinsic connection to G-d

This is so fascinating. I have a question for anyone who knows, please forgive my ignorance here. What is the difference between the Torah and the Talmud?
@breeeegs9 ай бұрын
The Torah is made up of two parts, the Written Torah (the Five Books of Moses) and the Oral Torah. Both were transmitted to Moses by G-d at Mount Sinai. The Oral Torah consists of the MIshnah, or the "outline" of the Oral Torah, and the Gemara, which is the commentary on the Mishna by the later Sages (called the Amoraim). Talmud is basically just another name for the Gemara.

Haha - you have no idea what you’re talking about. Less of a storybook and more of your typical 1st year law course. The Talmud is the central text where most Jewish rabbinic laws come from. Read about it, it’s interesting. Im sure you’d love it 😂
